That's great to see, but are we sure they're planning on adding another band to the main stage on Monday? I'm sure that assumption comes from the number of bands compared to the other days, etc., but I'd hesitate to get our hopes up just yet. Ween might just play an obscenely long set or something.

Anyone who thinks Pearl Jam is going to be added is delusional. Don't get me wrong, that would be awesome, but Ween is headlining. Deal with it.

+1 cg. I don't think they would find someone to headline over Ween. If ben Harper can headline... So can ween

Blitzen Trapper will be in Spokane on June 2nd, kind of a bummer they can't make a quick stop at Sasquatch before that.

Would be cool to see, but I figured the lineup is pretty full at this point right?

I guess you're right. Maybe we can put them in the box of "they get added if another band cancels" or "the waiting list"

Blitzen Trapper was there last year, but they're small enough to make it an easy get and fitting addition.

They have a new album coming out in June as well and I remember them drawing a decent crowd last year. Could be a good add, but not a huge deal either way.

I guess you're right. Maybe we can put them in the box of "they get added if another band cancels" or "the waiting list" My thoughts exactly. I wonder if they pay alternates a couple hundred bucks to keep the weekend open, just in case someone cancels. It's easy money for the alternate to get paid to do nothing, and helps the festival organizers quickly replace bands who cancel.

It's easy money for the alternate to get paid to do nothing, and helps the festival organizers quickly replace bands who cancel. I've always wondered how that works. Hopefully I can use my arts management and music degrees to start a festival and find out for myself.

I just got a great image of both Thom Yorke and Eddie Vedder at their phones on Memorial Day Weekend with one last bit of hope that Ween will not be able to play Monday night.

I went to a festival to see David Bowie in 2004, he had to cancel (medical stuff) and the alternate deemed as consolation for no Bowie was non other than the Instant Classic Timeless Spectacle of Elegance and Grace....The Darkness.
So there's my faith in alternates

Haha, wow. By that logic who would replace Ween? Clipse?
