I say we are going to see a DJ set from Deadmau5. He is playing at both Coachella and Bonnaroo, plus they're rolling the red carpet out for the new dance tent.

I think being there last year trumps doing festivals this year. There were certainly a few holdovers from Sasquatch '08 to Sasquatch '09, but especially considering that Chromeo has said that they'll be coming back this year to play a legitimate set I can't see Sasquatch intentionally scheduling two of the three same dance tent headliners for a brand spankin' new Rumpus Room.

Now the question is if Chromeo will appear with Daryl Hall, as they are at 'Roo. My guess is probably not.

I still think Flying Lotus is likely to be in the dance tent. Maybe not the headliner, but certainly in there. He's releasing a pretty hyped new album the month prior and he's gearing up for festival season to promote. He's on the Coachella lineup and I'd expect to see him at Lollapalooza too. Deadmau5 did the same thing last year.

I'm making a prediction of The Crystal Method being a dance tent headliner. Their newest album was probably last years most critically acclaimed electronic album. They're playing no other festivals besides sxsw, and they have a date at Red Rocks in CO on May 27th. I am saying 75 % they will be there at this point.

The Glitch Mob would be another great act, sound a lot like Bassnectar. They have a date at Coachella but no other festival dates, playing with The Crystal Method on May 27th.

"Last year's most critically acclaimed electronic album? " Sorry to disrupt the flow of this board, but with an average of a 56/100 on Metacritic, "Divided by Night" was anything but critically acclaimed...

Phoenix is now playing both Bonnaroo and Coachella. They also have no shows scheduled for the days between Bonnaroo and Coachella. This would mean that they're going to come to the United States from Europe in April, maybe fly back or just cold chill for two months doing nothing, and then do Bonnaroo and leave for the next show in Germany in late June.

Looking to keep this on subject of rumors. Critically acclaimed or not the date gap and how close their last announced in date and proximity does not lie. Never heard of metacritic before I will check it out hanks for the comment.

Now that the threads have been refreshed, I guess you have an excuse for bringing up the Japandroids.
They're playing Primavera that weekend. It is possible, but not likely, that they will appear at Sasquatch.

That would be fun, their show last month was fucking great.

Japandroids are going to be there. They referenced Sasquatch at their last Seattle show and are playing the 28th for Primavera and skip Seattle on their current tour. Done deal.
My guess as of now for rumors from other fests that we'll poach: LCD/ The Dead Weather/ MGMT/ Phoenix/ Vampire Weekend/ The National/ Passion Pit/ Dirty Projectors/ Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros/ Local Natives/ Dr. Dog/ Japandroids/ Wale/ Girls/ Miike Snow/ Flying Lotus/ The Temper Trap
That would be sooooooooooooooo kick ass if we get all those bands. I'm thinking Sasquatch learned their lesson last year by having a very strong undercard and lack luster headliners.
Here's also hoping Joanna Newsom makes the trek because her new songs are amazing.

Bassnectar has been predicted a TON. He's had two seattle shows in the past 6 months sell out (sodo & market) as well as would be a nice fit... It seems as if he would be too big for the dance tent... But ehh its possible
& I'd love love love to see thievery corp this year.
Passion Pit rumours died down?
