Just took the post-Sasquatch survey that Live Nation sent out, one of the last questions was something like "3 artists you would like to see next Sasquatch!". I went with Tame Impala, The Avalanches (love that new song), and Earl Sweatshirt.
Who would ya'll love to see next year?

A Foals return, Ra Ra Riot, and my dream headliner Paul Simon. I'll ditch the first two for Simon though.

I put Tool at the top of my Sasquatch wishlist life every year, but after thinking about it, I don't think they would work. I think they would end up like The Cure this year with a small group of rabid fans there just to see them but not enough universal appeal to hold the kids' attention away from whatever dance party is happening up the hill. As much as I would love to see then at the Gorge again, I think I'll have to wait until they play another solo show. Even though with the type of shows the Gorge books these days, they will probably never play there again. Also Fuck Buttons (Julysquatch #NeverForget) and Pearl Jam. I feel like next year is the year Pearl Jam actually happens. They are big enough to sell out the festival but personally connected to the northwest and Snacks enough that I feel like he could get some sort of friends and family discount to book them. I know that's probably not how business works, but it is how wishlists work.

Is it too soon for me to start next year's Rumo(u)rs/Confirmations thread for Car Seat Headrest? I thought Sasquatch might try to re-book Frightened Rabbit, Houndmouth, and Saint Motel too, but I wouldn't feel comfortable at all making them rumors.

I hope every bodies requests are somewhat reasonable, otherwise the survey is no help. Except Tool sells out arenas in little time, and half the sales could just be because they are there.

Is it possible that choice was the worst headliner choice/bands playing against the headliners Sasquatch has had yet?

Is it possible that choice was the worst headliner choice/bands playing against the headliners Sasquatch has had yet? Deadmau5 vs Ben Harper & Relentless7 in '09 did Ben Harper no favors. Not that he was gonna be a big draw anyway, but that was the most vacant I've ever seen the main stage.

Deadmau5 was just getting popular then, and didn't have the big stage production, so it didn't retract from the main stage at all. Looks like Chromeo vs Ben Harper. sasquatchfestival09.sched.org/

You couldn't even get in by the time I walked by, the crowd was so large. Meanwhile the whole hill was essentially vacant for ol' Ben.
