Hi, I am looking for a ride to the Sasquatch Festival, and can leave PDX anytime after 5 p.m Friday, May 27, and must be back by 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 30. I am a middle aged male, music writer, who has a festival pass but still working on how to get there yet. I'm willing to split gas costs and even camping costs and will buy you a beer or three! I'm pretty low maintenance, really good company and can provide references. Hope to hear from someone soon. Send any questions and maybe we can meet up/talk over the phone beforehand.

Not to be a downer, but good luck finding a ride for those times. If you do that you will miss all of Friday and all of Monday, and you'll have to leave Sunday after the shows to make it back Monday morning. I would hesitate to trust a stranger to be sober enough to make a night time drive back to Portland after a day of festivaling. If I was you I'd try to get at least Friday and Monday off (preferably Tuesday as well) and you'll have a much better chance of finding a ride.

Yeah, I figured it was a long shot, but I'm a live-in caregiver so there are no days off for me! Probably going to rent a car, but you never know.

Yeah can't hurt to ask, I'm just letting you know the odds of finding someone else coming from Portland and also attending half of the festival they paid for are pretty unlikely.
