In my opinion I like to think it means he's trying to put a lot into the 'no technical difficulties' side of things. With that I would umbrella optimizing staging so you don't have artists like glass animals in the tent or the last minute stage swap they had for empire of the sun. Perhaps that's why the schedule is so late, they're letting all the artists settle into their respective popularity before issueing stages.

last minute stage swap they had for empire of the sun. What? This is news to me. Weren't they always playing opposite of Sigur Ros on the Bigfoot?

Empire of the Sun played where and when the were supposed to. Tame Impala was scheduled to play before them on the Bigfoot, but their equipment showed up late so they ended up playing a late Yeti set opposite Sigur Ros and causing a major traffic jam between the two stages that almost sent me down a bad mental path until Sigur Ros fixed everything.

That's such a John Norris thing to say.

What does this even mean? Seems to me a glamorized word play on crowd control and genre dispersion. His name is Adam Snacks but all he's been giving us is BREADCRUMBS! What I got out of that was that he was really working hard on the scheduling. I would hope so considering how long it's taking.

The podcast seems unnecessary, like I've gotten some really interesting Snapple cap facts on the fest out of it. You would think that they would drive it with announcements (such is the way Beats Radio 1 drives views), but as is I've listed to one entire podcast and that will be all I tune in for. Also it's John Norris' first Sasquatch too and you're not fooling anyone, John. lol I can assure you that I'm not John Norris.

I really fucking wish I was into Tame Impala at that time. I remember thinking Sigur Ros > Empire of the Sun might make for a good back to back, but holy shit was I wrong. I watched about 30 seconds of their set and laughed myself out of the venue. All of the videos I later saw from that Tame Impala set made it look like a damn killer set.

I'm kicking myself for not making it out to see Tame Impala last fall. They are on a short list of bands I really want to see.
Anyone here like Vulfpeck? I just got tickets to see them this September. I'm pretty pumped.

They ended up playing at the same time though so it's probably better that you weren't! You would have had to leave Sigur Rós early to catch any of their set. I was bummed that I didn't get to do both but then all the amazing in the world happened so I didn't really end up caring that much.

Looks like they fixed it. You can stream the podcast here even if you don't have/don't want to use iTunes. www.sasquatchpodcast.com/category/episodes/New episode with Kurt Vile. I'm curious to see if he talks about his recent tour. I caught one show and enjoyed it but I know some people who saw other shows on this tour and left disappointed. Oh, well.

Nice! Michael Benjamin Lerner aka Telekinesis is on the new episode today. Not familiar with this dude at all. Gonna check out his stuff. Anyone a big fan here? I guess they will be dropping new episodes on Tuesdays and Thursdays if they keep up the model they've had the past few weeks. Also, totally cool that they are on soundcloud now. For whatever reason my work computer's iTunes barely works. Weird. www.sasquatchpodcast.com/category/episodes/

For my fellow Android users, Google Play Music's last update added podcast integration and this one is on there. I was able to subscribe and get notified when new episodes come out, right within the primary app I use for music. So that's pretty cool.

Twitter said that Gorge manager and Borns will be on the new episodes this week. I listened to a few Borns songs but it's not really my thing. Apparently he was raised as a circus kid? Maybe that makes sense considering the dramatic flair he shows on stage and on record.
