Im meeting up with friends coming from Vancouver (BC) and seeing if anyone has room from Portland, leaving Thurs, returning Mon/Tue.

Don't need a ride but I was wondering if anybody could tell me how much traffic to expect when driving to the gorge from Portland. Should I expect a long line of cars as we get closer to the Gorge or is it a pretty easy drive all the way there. On Google Maps it says a little over 4hr 30min, is that about right? Thanks so much!
