Has anyone checked to see if the crossovers match up? On it.

I already know one of the adds. So far, it's nothing that will be a game-changer for anyone. Are you still in communication with the man? I feel like he has to see some of these threads, curious to see if he acknowledges the collective disappointment at all or comments on the fact that you're out this year.

I know everyone has different tastes, but I'm not sure what the beef is with this year's lineup. Robert Plant and Kendrick Lamar are to notch headliners in my book and I still believe "& More" is going to be a game changer. The only thing I see missing this year is that one "I can't believe we got..." electronic artist, like Gessaffelstien or Kraftwerk/Fuck Buttons (RIP Julysquatch hashtag Never Forget) from last year. To compare, the last couple years there have been about 10 or so acts that I was legitimately excited about when the lineup came out followed by a bunch more I discovered between then and the festival. This year, looking down the list, I already count 18 that I'm very excited about and I haven't even started researching the ones I haven't heard yet. I realize it is more expensive overall with camping not being included any more, but I am still excitebike as I've ever been for Sasquatch. This is the perfect explanation for why I like the lineup

Okay I might have some counting errors but here's how the crossovers look right now.
Coachella: 23/26 (under) Governor's Ball: 23/24 (under) Hangout Fest: 8/8 Bonnaroo: 24/24 Boston Calling: 6/6 Big Guava: 6/6 Shaky Knees: 8/6 (over) Primavera Sound: 11/10 (over) Forecastle: 10/10

Just saying.

I guess it was a pretty narrow comment. I realize there are a lot of Canadians on here. Me being Canadian has nothing to do with the fact that your comment didn't make sense. At least I don't think so. Wanna explain it to me? I genuinely curious how it was supposed to make sense. No problem man. I used "un-American" as an expression to reference the separation of those around you by an unpopular opinion that may draw sharp criticism. Me, being in America, it made sense. In hindsight maybe I should've used unpatriotic?

If Ratatat is booked as Zacks' Twitter favourites might suggest, that would simultaneously make it 24/26 for Coachella and 24/24 for Governor's Ball.

Any speculation about Bjork/Ratatat being one of the "missing crossovers" only suggests that they may have been booked at one point and then cancelled.

I don't really think either of those things mean going against the grain and I don't think not wanting to see Robert Plant is an unpopular opinion as roughly half the people here seem to agree with you. We'll just leave it at that, agree to disagree or whatever.

I haven't really specifically been in touch with him since the lineup came out, but he still communicates tidbits of info to the collective "5." I'm not sure he has any idea I'm not planning on attending.

The more you try to defend your confusing comment, the more it appears you didn't know Led Zeppelin was British.

To be fair, Led Zeppelin was pretty much all I heard growing up around the Murican' white trash types.

I understand the importance of Led Zeppelin and I of course love some of their music, but it's not something I listen to often. I have also never listened to any of Robert Plant's solo material, and I don't really have any desire to. My opinion on Robert Plant at Sasquatch is that it would be amazing to hear some Led Zeppelin at the Gorge, but he's not a reason for me to go or not go.
Edit: I feel like this is how some other people here feel and I'm happy to stand in the middle of the road on this issue.
