I am not but I would kind of like to be. Not having a car makes it pretty tough though.

Haha, we spent like 3 hours on a bus on Saturday to get to the closest mountain hike. I have to hike in order to hike.

I was in my younger days, but haven't done too much lately. Damn shame too, considering I am surrounded by awesome trails in northwest Montana. Definitely want to get back into it.

Alberta rockies are amazing to hike, I try to go a couple times per month in the spring and summer.

Hiker here. Favorite spot that's close - Angels Rest in the gorge. Best hike last year - Bow Glacier Falls at the top of the Bow River Valley in Banff NP. Beautiful place I must say...

Well, I am currently building a site that's meant to be a kind of hybrid between a wikipedia and social network for hikes, as well as allow photo sharing and such (based around kind of being a hosting site for photographers). It's nearing a stage where I can open it to Alpha, and if any of you are interested you would get a premium account for helping me test it and giving me feedback.

I would be interested in giving it a try.

I am going to try to start getting out there this spring/summer. A friend of mine just started a FB group and we are going to try to plan for at least a couple a month. He's also a photographer, so would probably be interested in something like this if you are looking to extend the invite to multiple parties.

Yeah, I will be looking at offering about 100-200 free premium accounts on a first come/first serve basis (or maybe invites? Not 100% sure yet). I will keep everyone posted with details. It is currently being hosted on a free Pakistani server that constantly fails to connect to its on mysql database, so I am looking to migrate it within the week, and as long as it seems to hold up I might open it to alpha then.

We have lots of Pakistani posters on here! While I can't speak to their server capabilities, I do know that they have some great kitchen countertops to sell!

I'd be interested in something like this. It would give me an excuse to get out on the trails more.

Here is a spot just down the way from the festival site. Looks like a pretty nice little day hike, especially when the waterfall is flowing and the flowers are blooming. www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/frenchman-couleeThis a pretty good hiking web site too.

First hike of the year.... Coyote Wall in the Columbia River Gorge. Beautiful day and the flowers were blooming. Gotta little bit of sunburn though, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
