More Squamish additions tomorrow, so probably a few more acts to rule out.

Still liking the possibility of Nas at Pemberton as a line 2-3ish act on the poster

At Block Party because I still can't attend this festival.

I'm trying to figure out what this could be. It doesn't really make sense with the way block party is scheduled unless it's a bunch of different stages mashed together. Ratatat would he on the main stage but they wouldn't have music going past midnight outside. Oh well, I'll be quite happy if ratatat, Jamie xx, and com truise play. That would be cool if they started doing "late night" style sets on the main stage after the headliners at Block Party.

Noise ordnance would never let this happen, and as cool as it sounds, the ludicrous amount of alcohol-infused U-district bros would ruin everything for everyone.

The Full Flex Express tour announced its dates and they have Pemberton listed on July 19th. Looks like Jack U might be the big electronic name this year.
Edit: I'm pretty sure it's Jack U and not just Skrillex because the Ottawa date is for Bluesfest and it's Jack U playing that show.

Hopefully they bring back some names, and possibly Purity Ring? Pemberton needs to drop their lineup soon holy tits. I want to buy my ticket.

Squamish announced some adds, including A$AP Rocky. Was really expecting him to be on the Pemberton lineup.

People all over the internet keep talking about RHCP like it's a sure thing. The poll on the Facebook means nothing and I doubt a band that big would do Pemberton as a one off.
Food clue and DJ clue could be DJ Mustard. He's playing a few festival shows and is definitely one of the bigger producers in the world right now.

Saw someone on Facebook point out that Run the Jewels are listed as playing Pemberton on Pollstar. Not gonna count on it, but Pollstar correctly listed Atmosphere as playing Julysquatch before it was announced last year. RTJ would fit earlier speculation.

And they're in Portland that weekend for Project Pabst, so it'd be easy for them to also hit Pemberton.

I have a feeling that tomorrow they're going to announce the lineup release date. Also Vancouver radio doesn't have the release date. They used the Peak last year and they don't have it yet.

Just listening to Cloud Nothings' latest record, and they struck me as a possible band for this year, filling the METZ/Fucked Up role. Maybe they'd even bring along Wavves since those boys are dropping that collaborative album this summer.
Really tho, just entertaining myself with notions like this until the lineup drops. As drawn out as this process has been, it's still not as drawn out as it was last year, and this time around I have reason to believe they'll do a great job regardless.
