New hints:
"Hmmmm ..... 2 animal name acts, 4 acts that start with … "M", 9 acts you could use in a sentence, 3 acts that sound like a colour, and 2 bands with a month in them, 2 acts with "band" in the name, and one act that sounds like a food (really)."

I think you're exactly right. especially Decemberists - that's a lock.
Wouldn't be surprised if Hot Chip was the "food."
And Panda Bear has just GOT to be one of the animal name acts. Fuckin plz.

New hints: 2 acts with "band" in the name" Band of Horses Band of Skulls The Budos Band Mark Lanegan Band Steve Miller Band Ty Segall Band Zac Brown Band I would guess The Budos Band and either Ty Segall Band or Band of Horses are most likely, although Mr. Cakes suggested Zac Brown yesterday...

Throw Preservation Hall Jazz Band into the mix too. I think they're available and not playing Vancouver on their spring tour

Would be down for Band of Horses. They had a great set at Squamish 2013.
Also: Caribou. Saw him last night and was astounded. The new songs are fantastic live - and what a positive guy. He looked like he was having a blast.
I saw on Facebook someone suggest the "food" was the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They do have an album in the pipeline for a possible summer release, and that would conceivably fill the role that NIN/Sound garden held last year...but they literally have no other dates so it'd be a weird get. They'll probably just do the circuit next year, but ya never know...

Yeah I think Caribou is looking very possible. Fits the animal and one word name hints.

Any band can be used in a sentence.
"I think (band) will be on the Pemberton lineup"

"Guess the lineup release date" not guess the lineup. I don't know why, but I find that hilarious.

Predictions? It could drop tomorrow too.
Im fairly confident in RTJ, Passion Pit, The Decemberists, Alvvays.
Going to guess: Jack U (Skrillex and Diplo), Muse, Kendrick Lamar (even tho he played last year was 45 mins late?? Who knows) The Weeknd
