I would like to see Raphael Saadiq play at Sasquatch. Where do you think he would be billed if he is on the line-up? Mid-day set like Sharon Jones? That would be a lot of fun. We haven't seen a lot of R&B/Soul at Sasquatch, but I think he's among the handful of those artists who would be a good fit! He's probably less popular than Sharon Jones, but more popular than Aloe Blacc. I think he'd be a good mid afternoon main stage act! Yeah, I need a couple of sets over the course of the weekend like Aloe Blacc, Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley and so on. It balances out the weekend for me. Another one I was thinking that would be cool up that vein is Robert Randolph & The Family Band.

I've never been to this festival so my choices my not be valid, but here's who'd I like to see..NIN, William Control, Green Day, Placebo (but I won't hold my breathe on that one). Garbage, Pixies, Delain, & I have to add Florence & the Machine...maybe this is the wrong crowd (I don't know) but her voice blows me away.

This crowd has much love for Flo and her machine. Not so much from me, but "this crowd", yes. Green Day, on the other hand, actually gets love from me but probably not the rest of the crowd.

If you don't like Dookie, you are probably just dookie... meaning you hate yourself.

I stand corrected. It's long been kind of the cool thing to hate on Green Day, Dookie is one of the greatest albums of all times and it holds a special place in my heart. I was 16 the summer it came out and Green Day was the first band I ever saw play at the Gorge.

I'm still pissed that Green Day cancelled that club tour that I had tickets for last year. That would have been one of my favorite shows ever.

My original list did not include the Field, but definitely should have included the Field.

More of my friends have claimed the current Nine Inch Nails tour to be the best concert they've ever seen than any other concert in the history of my friends attending live music concerts, which is why they should also play Sasquatch. This one is pretty obvious, but I just wanted to throw that fact out there.

He rarely tours, so it would be a pretty special get if Snacks could pull it off. That being said, Bruce Springsteen just announced a new album, set to be released in January. Could May-squatch turn into Boss-squatch? Probably won't happen, but a guy's gotta dream ...

Placebo (but I won't hold my breathe on that one). I'd like to check these guys out. I used to dislike their music, but after really listening to their albums I ended up becoming a fan. Their new album is alright. I wonder how they are live. This crowd has much love for Flo and her machine. Not so much from me, but "this crowd", yes. Green Day, on the other hand, actually gets love from me but probably not the rest of the crowd. Actually, a lot of us here like Green Day. Early Green Day at least. First couple of albums were great, but after the they started playing all the poppy stuff I lost interest, and haven't really given their old stuff too much consideration lately. I'm glad I got to see them before they went all pop rock. If they played I wouldn't skip their set for any old button pusher.

I just picked up Portishead Live in NYC on vinyl, at London Drugs of all places, and after listening to it I began thinking how amazing it would be if they played Sasquatch. I think it's a left field request, but it'd be a great surprise, like when Massive Attack were booked out of nowhere.

It'd be nice if this was actually the year it happens!
