I just realized that Television are still playing shows. Relevant for Sasquatch?

Totally relevant. I love watching legendary bands with 25 other people at 2pm while everyone else is waiting for Foster the People to play their one song.

I'm gonna pull the board suicide card and admit I'd never even heard of Television until this reuniom was announced. What kind of tunes did/do they play?

They're a New York rock band from the '70s with excellent guitar work.

There are still so many excellent bands who have never played Sasquatch. Such as Low.

Yes to Television! Marquee Moon is one of my favourite albums of the 70s

Low should play both weekends and do a drone set on one of them, but keep it a surprise as to which one.

Low would make me so happy. They are another band that I have been unable to see live for some reason or another. I was telling Burrito that about Thee Oh Sees. I always can’t make it to their show. Knowing my luck they will both be booked on the same day at the same time....during QOTSA or something. haha.

Television are the epitome of 70's post-punk. The most infectious guitar sequences and weirdo time signatures. Marquee Moon is a masterpiece and they only put out two other albums which are both solid, but there are a shitload of lives and b-sides floating around the interwebs too.

BADBADNOTGOOD. Saw them on Saturday opening for DOOM and they very nearly stole the show...never have I seen a crowd mosh so hard to an instrumental jazz trio, but boy was it awesome. The played a lot of cuts off their upcoming record and it all sounds great.

On another note, if the Replacements extend their reunion I think that they would be a good fit for Sasquatch.

I would like to see Raphael Saadiq play at Sasquatch. Where do you think he would be billed if he is on the line-up? Mid-day set like Sharon Jones? That would be a lot of fun.

We haven't seen a lot of R&B/Soul at Sasquatch, but I think he's among the handful of those artists who would be a good fit! He's probably less popular than Sharon Jones, but more popular than Aloe Blacc. I think he'd be a good mid afternoon main stage act!
