I'd never heard that song before and it popped up on drews ipod on the way back from coachella.
I didn't know what to make of it as I was half asleep, but it still runs through my head every now and then and makes me smile.

The first thing i've been doing every morning is looking at the weather at the Gorge. It fucking snowed here yesterday. 26 days...

It's forecast to be in the upper 70s in Seattle this weekend, so I'd like to believe that translates to amazing weather at the Gorge in three and a half weeks. Over the past five years I'd say the average weather for any given Sasquatch day would be around 75 for a high, 50 low and partly cloudy. I've seen all sorts of extremes like the heat in 2009 and the upper 30s in the morning in 2011.

I read somewhere that this summer might be a scorcher, apparently we're overdue for one and Sunday is supposed to be 80, so we might be in for another 2009 situation.

Your mom is in for another 2009 situation.
Because she is hot.

So hot you're going to go through like 10 bottles of sunscreen in four days.

If I remember correctly, the 2009 summer was the last time we had an El Nino weather pattern and the spring was warmer than normal. We're in that exact situation this spring. I'm not a meteorologist but if I had to guess I'd say this year's weather will be more like 2009 than any other year I've gone. Almost hitting 80 in Seattle in the first few days of May is abnormal.

Burrito does not wear sunscreen, much to my dismay.
