Quirks!

We all have them! What weird little rituals or habits do you perform on a daily basis that others might find silly?

While eating my burrito for lunch (nomnomnom) I realized that every single time I have some sort of food with a tortilla shell or bread, I break off a few inches at the end of it and set it aside to eat after the rest of my meal is done. Once I'm finished I roll it up and stuff it in my mouth like it's a desert or something. I have no idea why I do this haha.

I make sound effects when I drive and I use the button on my gearshift and emergency brake to pretend to shoot other cars if they make me mad.

Everytime I eat anything even a little warm I shake my fork/spoon to cool it down a bit. I didn't even realize I did this until my stepma pointed it out and started worrying that I had the DT's.

I am literally compelled to flick a lightswitch whenever I walk past one.

I also habitually check for my wallet and cell phone and keys, almost perpetually. But that's just good practice.

I was a horrible nail biter until a couple months ago when I broke my front tooth and had a crown put on. The crown is just different enough that I can't successfully bite my nails anymore, so I just stopped. It was so hard for a couple weeks but now I have nice nails for the first time in my life.

Oh yeah I have a (totally rational) fear of battery acid. I wash my hands every time I touch batteries. I've been told this is nutbar behavior, but I've seen those little fuckers explode and it straight fucked up everything it touched.
