Seems as though every year I never have cell phone service inside the venue! I've been thinking about picking up a prepaid phone for the weekend. Any recommendations? I can get a Tracfone with like 400 minutes on it for $20....

In my experience, reception sucks everywhere in the Gorge, regardless of carrier or type of phone for the most part. You and your group would be better off spending that money on walkie-talkies

That's the only way I found my friends was via text for the most part. I didn't spend a lot of time doing it, but it was handy to find each other.

I had Sprint last year and I got reception in the campground but once I entered the venue it was completely gone. That made things difficult when trying to find people. I have AT&T now so we will see how that goes this year.

AT&T has always worked decently enough for me everywhere except for near the main stage. It completely drops off once you go into the pit area.

Confirming that if you're worried about cell phone service at Sasquatch then you're doing it wrong.

I've had AT&T and T-Mobile in previous years and the reception was crap. My friend with Verizon has always had good reception, and that's who I'm with now. As far as I know Verizon are the only ones that roll out trucks to the Gorge to boost signal strength.
