If anyone is traveling through the gorge from Portland or The Dalles and has room in their vehicle for a small tent, air mattresses and sleeping bags that is planning on arriving Thursday early evening I would pay part of your gas money if you could pick these up and meet up with someone there that needs them. Long sentence...sorry! I am loaning 2 people minimal camping equipment but I won't be there till later on Thursday night and I don't want them to have to not have any tent or anything until we get there:-) We live right on the route if you were driving from Portland or anywhere on interstate 84.

Not only are you nice enough to loan out camping supplies to complete strangers but, to ensure they don't have wait for you to get there, you're willing to pay someone else gas money to take it on your behalf! Most people would be fine waiting just because it's already so nice of you to lend it. And most people lending stuff would think that those people should wait too since you're already being kind enough...
I love the way you think, and I hope someday we all will not only be lucky enough to receive this all-encompassing kind of generosity but learn how to give it to the world as freely as you as well.

Hey just trying to be real:-) Still no one coming on I84 from the West to help out though. One of our cars might just have to go a little earlier to get this stuff to them before dark. Not that big a deal...since we all will be getting there soon anyway. They will just have to hang out somewhere and wait for the rest of us. Easy to make happen when you are the mom the the ones driving other cars are your kids:-))) Gotta love the Mom Power!

The one in question replaces "I.8" (take out the period) with "Weak Shit Superfan" so when you type "I.84" (again, with out the period) you get, well, you saw what happened. |

Ok...still looking for a ride for a tent, couple of sleeping bags, air mattress and just a couple other small things on Thursday afternoon from Biggs, OR which is on the way to the event if you are coming from Portland or anywhere south. Please, Please....it won't take up much space and I am totally cool to kick down cash, herb, food or alcohol if someone could get this stuff to the fest earlier than 8PM on Thursday:-)))
