Taking my suburban down solo, meeting friends from calgary there. 4 seats lots of room, taking it as our camping support vehicle. Don't even want gas money, just want to feel better about driving this beast down there.

Why would someone with a 5.5 hour drive straight south basically swing 4 hours out of the way to go "through" vancouver? Maps.

stephaniedaisy, two tips for you:
1 - learn to read the dates of the threads you're posting in. This one is from 2011, and the other one you posted in was from 2009.
2 - gaz =/= gas.
Follow both of those tips and you'll probably have a better chance of finding a rideshare. Good luck!
