I just noticed that Sasquatch DOES offer a shuttle service from SEATAC to the Gorge. I have no idea how much it costs, and I'm really surprised that if they do offer it, they don't promote it anywhere. www.gorgecamping.com/SASQUATCH-2011.html

Thanks for this! I just emailed them, I'll let you all know what I find out. Any idea how camping would work if you took the shuttle, do you still get a spot?

You would certainly still have a spot.

I've gotten no response back. This is kind of ridiculous. Why wouldn't they just have the info online?

That is fucking ridiculous. They started promoting it the day after I posted it here too. That was 48 hours ago.

I have a feeling you're being sarcastic and you're right, it's really not that much time. It just feels like forever when you're panicking about transportation to and from Sasquatch. I'll just have to wait patiently.

Hahaha, I apologize. I wasn't being sarcastic at all. It really seems like at least a cost sheet should be emailed out within a day of you asking for it.

Nice to see they're offering this though, and the option to buy (rent?) your tent as well. Definitely makes this a more accessible festival for those coming from further away.

Yeah, I noticed that little detail as well. I also like the phrasing of a full refund minus a 25 dollar fee. Way to make sure you get every penny you can while making it seem like you're still accommodating.
Still, it'll be helpful for some people. Unfortunately I am not one of them.

oh well, even if they're taking super baby steps with this, at least they're doing something.

I emailed livenation to see if there was a shuttle this year and they sent me the following link. sasquatch.rockandbus.com/ It looks like a ride can be arranged from Vancouver, BC, Seattle or Ellensberg for anyone that needs a ride from any of those locations.
