i am curious i have been thinking about bringing some sort of souvenier treat to give away/trade for whatever
recently dyed some white handkerchiefs turned out like colorful rorschach tests...could be handy if its dusty and hot
i dont know if this is worth doing i have never gone yet is this a terribly silly idea?

Totally different but I plan on handing out glow sticks like strangers hand out candy to kids on the condition that the recipient join us for the glowpocalypse @ bassnectar.
Back to your topic: I don't really want a hanky but if it's big enough to use as a bandana I would be down (if you're not offended by the idea). What sort of trades were you thinking?

if glow sticks is all you want I have plenty of those to trade. the reason I mentioned a bandana is that I wear them on my head (I have a shaved head). So if it's still big enough to do that, that's what I'm looking for!

Sounds very burning man of you... I think it's a cool idea, I'm just not sure what other people would trade with you besides glowsticks and booze.

You sound as if you're saying booze and glowsticks wouldn't be enough...

"This place is amazing, there are free beads everywhere, and women take their shirts off for beads!"
I will buy someone a $12 beer in the festival if they know where thats from. And dont bother googling it since I did that from memory and thats probably not the exact quote.
If I was in anyway artistic I would participate in this, but yeah, booze and glowsticks. I do make a mean breakfast burrito that would probably be worth like $17 in the festival...

Since I like to give joints away anyway, I would sexually trade for them.

Its from a TV show I used to watch in my early teens, so early 00's (but it ran for a while). They are talking about mardi gras, of that wasnt already clear. They dont live in New Orleans or anything though, they are just visiting, and its only one of the main characters who is there. I really dont expect anyone to get it, its totally random that I even thought of it, it just popped into my head with the whole trading thing. Since I like to give joints away anyway, I would sexually trade for them. Stormy I'll trade you some sort of breakfast for joints. Its the only meal I know how to cook and its the only time of the day I am sober enough to cook anyway.

Nah, I never really liked that show.
Think a show more geared towards kids, as it revolves around a family with teenage kids.
This is probably too obvious now as there are only a few shows in the early 00's that ran for a while (a while being like 7 or 8 seasons) and revolved around a family.
Final bonus hint, which makes it a total give-a-way, the band that does the theme song for the show played sasquatch last year.
