Which really isn't saying a whole lot.

Fun Fact: Kelly Hrudey presented to one of my classes in university. He is a total DILF in person. The camera definitely adds 10 lbs. Everyone always says my dad looks like Kelly Hrudey The weird thing about this photo is that it was taken at my Baba's funeral (my dad's mom). None of us ever wear suits so my mom wanted a photo that looked like we were wearing suits but not for funeral reasons, because my mom is crazy and doesn't understand social situations.

Where'd all the happy Canuck fans go? The Bruins lost their first 2 games against the Habs in the first round last year... and we all know how that panned out.

Also every single home team has lost home Ice advantage already... can't remember that ever happening. So much parity in the league right now.

Pittsburgh / Phili has been the most exciting series to watch so far IMO.

The backstory makes the photo a little frightening. Still great, nonetheless!

Who said L.A was a weak team again? Weak est. I stand corrected though, they are now second weakest to Vancouver. I don't mean to totally downplay LA, but there is noone the Canucks could beat at the level they are playing at. Easily the worst series I've watched in terms of cup-winning potential so far. Losing Daniel obviously hurt, but I didn't think it would make them play like a non-playoff team, which they did in the first two games. If you still think LA are better than anyone else in the west playoffs other than maaaaybe SJ you havent been watching.

I'd rather play Chicago. Yeah I know they have been Canuck killers but that was when they didn't have an ECHL caliber goaltender. I'd also rather play SJ, or Phoenix. The Canucks haven't played well, but your still under-playing how good LA is.

Pittsburgh is still gonna take the series.
EDIT: Here's my reasoning so it doesn't look like a pure fluke when the seemingly impossible actually happens. Emotionally the Penguins have no diggity no doubt been worn down and put through the wringer, but not as bad as the Flyers have been physically put through the wringer. If you look closely at all the scrums that occur during the game and after the whistles, the Pens have been doing some excessive hacking and slashing. It hasn't really shown its effects just yet, but if this series goes beyond 4 games you will see the hesitation on the side of the Flyers.
Now I'm not saying that the Pens have initiated some type of brilliant "rope a dope" plan that has the Flyers playing right into their hands. The intent has definitely been to win all along, but I do believe they came into this series with a plan to constantly take advantage of every slash and poop they could give (which has had its own reverse effects as of late). Philly is the perfect team to do this to as they are young and much more apt to "play tough" through the slashes and not protect themselves or pay attention to the long term toll minor, but constant, stick work can have on your wrists and ribs.
I also believe that if the Pens do decide (as they had fucking better!) to play more of a system based hockey instead of runnin' and gunnin' with the Flyers that they will have the edge and take the jump away from Phillie's young offense. I'll probably look like a fucking idiot on Wednesday (strongly believing any team can come back from 3-0 is pretty idiotic to begin with), but then again maybe not.

I don't watch many LA games since they are boring (lowest goals for and goals against this season) but they have stepped up signifigantly in this series, from the few games I did see this season. They just seem to want it more, a lot more. The Canucks seemed terribly nonchalant in the first 2 games and while they played with a lot more effort in game 3 they lacked the skill that made them good in the first place. The Canucks never seem to be trying that hard (winning or losing) because they are usually so together with their plays, but all that seems to have gone to shit. Now they just look like a subpar team that doesn't even care much.
If LA keeps playing like this they could go pretty far, which would be sad because I find their style of play to be quite unentertaining. One thing is for sure, they have our number and if they can figure out other teams like they figured out us, we could be in for a boring western final.
Anyway, not jumping off the bandwagon as I will always be a Canucks fan. It's been a pretty disapointing series and I don't think they have much of a chance of coming back. I'll get over it, it's just hockey.

I'll get over it, it's just hockey. Just to clarify as I don't think I was very clear. LA was not a better team than the teams that finished ahead of them. All I was saying is that they have all of the pieces to do some serious damage. I think they were the team most other teams were afraid to play. Davers you nailed it though, the Canucks look like a team with an expensive golf trip planned this weekend that they don't want to miss. Also Henrick Lundqvist is the best goalie in the league, that is all.
