I did not want to make a new thread but Ive grown tired of reading through old threads to find missed opportunities so:
I have no clue how I'm getting to Sasquatch.
So far my ideas are to fly and carpool, or carpool.
I like the sound of driving from the airport but I'm not 25-I'm 21 so I'm willing to pitch in for a rental. I can also hitch a ride from anyone that's offering. I also like the idea of carpooling from LA but idk if anyone is down for that.
I'm clean. Civil. And pretty down. I have a four day pass and this is a round trip acquaintance. Ill pitch in for whatever, gas, rental, booze etc. Blah blah blah.
Ready, set, go!

You didn't outright say it, but I think this might land you some grief from someone in particular... Anyway, I do suggest you read through the threads here. There are a number of other people in a similar boat (thinking of flying and then carpooling with others from the airport) so you should find those posts and contact those users. Or better yet, find the people who want to fill up their car that are leaving from somewhere like Seattle. I hear there's a party bus passing through that region too...

I thought the party bus was coming from the east... And it's going to drive more east until it circles the globe and reaches Sasquatch!

I don't even remember who was on what side of that argument or what the end result was, but I'm hoping for a repeat

At this point I think I8 just responds to it because its expected of him. I could be wrong though.

There is an incredible business opportunity here. Open a car rental company with a special discounted rate for anybody between the ages of 16 and 24, then FUCK THEM HEAVY on insurance. If they don't take the insurance, you ruin their credit rating.
Or even if an established car rental company simply focused some advertising on the fact that they rent to people 21-25 they would likely see a substantial increase in rentals from that segment.

Would have added to this to the thread Weak Shit Superfan posted, but alas, it is locked.
As a reference point for expenses:
Fox Rent-a-car charges $20 extra per day for under 25.

I've rented for $10 extra per day as an underager as well. That was through Ace/Discount Rent A Car.

With an AMA/CAA membership the "underage fee" is waived at Hertz I think.
