now I kinda want to do it, but like I said, I have no time. I let you get away with the first one, but I not able to bite my lip when you say it twice. Sorry Alex, you just stumbled upon one of my biggest pet peeves. If you want to do something, you make time. The general statement of, "I have no time," implies your time is more important than others. It is a lesser known fact that if worker #1 does 8 hours of work in an 8 hour shift, and worker #2 does 3 hours of work in an 8 hour shift, and you have a two hour project that needed done ASAP, worker #1 will figure out a way to get it done, while worker #2 will say, "I have no time." "I have time management issues," is a more acceptable admission. I have time management issues because I wish to have some downtime between working, moving, learning songs for an open mic, and attempting to teach my roommates how to be responsible adults. My (down)time is valuable as fuck until at least the end of the month, which coincidentally is the deadline for this particular project. Is that acceptable?

Alright, I know you're all excited, because today's the day you get your matchups!!!!
However, I just got home from work and I'm beat as hell, so it'll probably be later in the day.
Oh, and: Stickfigures and Snorlax, better get me those addresses quick or you two will be stuck with each other.

Alright, all PM's are sent, matchups have been made, and its time to start the mixing. Snorlax and Stickfigures, sorry that you didn't make the deadline, but you two can totally exchange if you want, and we'll catch you on the next one.
There is one particularly funny sender-------------------->sendee.

Couple things: I don't know if I mentioned this, but insofar as there can be any sort of deadline on this sort of thing, it would be cool if you (and me) all got your CDs sent out by the end of March. I for one will probably be using most of the time. I plan on spending a fair amount of time listening to my mix so that I can really nail down the flow of it.
Item number two: How are you all planning on keeping yourself anonymous while still putting down your return address? I'm having fun thinking of pseudonyms that could be small hints.
Item number three: If any of you have experience shipping from America to Canada, or from CA to the US, it would be really cool if you could post some tips! I looked at mailing costs on the USPS website, and it seems as though it shouldn't be more than three or four dollars tops to send a CD in a case. Hope the mixing goes well!

Item number two: How are you all planning on keeping yourself anonymous while still putting down your return address? Dead drop. Obviously. If any of you have experience shipping from America to Canada, or from CA to the US, it would be really cool if you could post some tips! It is more expensive to ship south than north in this situation. Canada Post sucks. The only way around this is that I know of is to actually duck across the border, but that isn't a realistic option for anyone outside of the lower mainland. I might be doing this only because I travel down south pretty frequently anyway.

Obvious solution: Everyone mails their CDs to one point person (probably JWW or HG) who then sends it all off.

Well I figured we can put fake names on the return address, right? And I guess I suppose that the name thing only matters to those of us who are in the facebook group because we know each others IRL names.

My mix is done!! Been working on it everyday since day one and it is finally finished. There are only so many times where I can remove and add songs. Eventually I just have to stop otherwise the thing will never get done. Just need to figure out some sort of artwork/cover and we are good to go.
How's everyone else's progress?
