I'd be willing to be you tickets will be cheaper in May than they are now. Currently the cheapest ticket on stubhub is $565 and there are 326 tickets. I would be totally shocked if tickets can't be gotten for cheaper than that in the next couple months.

They will get cheaper. No one will pay $550+ for stubhub or anywhere else when LiveNation is selling ligit tickets at $550. This forces the scalper market to drop under the LiveNation price.

Which is still over $200 more than face value. If they were selling for $400, less sketchy. $550, super sketchy.

Just keep the ticket price porn coming. It keeps me from freaking out about the early sell-out. I don't have a ticket, but obviously I want to go this year. I'm on the fence, and if I see a sweet ticket price come May- i'm going balls deep into the depths of the Squatch.

There are to many posters with rusty in their name.
I keep thinking I'm posting and forgetting about it or something.

The inevitable slide downwards in ticket prices has already begun... StubHub's cheapest is sitting at $489 with 4 available

The latest craigslist Seattle ad: seattle.craigslist.org/see/tix/3760003722.htmlFor when it inevitable gets removed, here's the quote. "Hi, I'm a guy that has a four day Sasquatch wristband with camping all nights included. I'm not looking to sell my tickets as much as I am looking for a trade of services. So if you are a female who really wants to go but can't afford it I'm willing to trade the Sasquatch wristband for the right trade offer. I'm just looking to have some fun instead of getting just cash, but I'm also a normal person, just open minded and wanted to try this out. Let me know if your interested." Sketchy to say the least...

There is one on eBay right now at $375. Still higher than face value, but the first I've seen under 400. ShitHub prices are consistently just under 450 and getting better by the day.

I've seen Craigslist tickets for ~$360ish today.
Also ones for like $600. But still.

In all fairness, it was the starting bid on an auction and the Buy it Now price was 650. But as long as nobody pays that much for them, they will keep coming down and should be pretty reasonable in 2 weeks when I have the money to get my girlfriend's ticket.

My girlfriend just got hers in the mail today. The prices are going to go steadily down as more and more of them get mailed out. In a few weeks I'll pounce on a good deal.

Speaking of which, someone just replied to my post on craigslist that was asking for face value tickets. The person lives in AZ, so the tickets would have to be shipped to me. What's the best way to exchange tickets like that and be safe with my money? It seems legit. She sent me a picture of the 3 wristbands she has and offered to either ship it or to meet me in Portland the day before the festival to make the trade. The email also had her name on it so I found her on facebook just to verify she's a real person.
I know I've seen people talk about only sending money using paypal, but not a personal transfer otherwise I could get scammed. Any other tips for this process?

If it were me, I'd meet in person and pay in cash. But I'm incredibly cynical.

Aaaaaand done. It looks like a bunch of the ones I reported last time were taken down. BAM. Operation flood the market with fake tickets at or below face value to commence soon.

I've been doing this too! The first part that is. I could see 'Operation Flood the Market' being annoying to people actually trying to buy tickets, but I see your angle.

It might be annoying. But it still lowers the price for everyone.
