Damn. Can I have it delivered to your house? Maybe, Zephyr. Seattle is neat in it's own way but it truly lacks delivery services. I would even take daytime only delivery if it meant a wide variety of things. Even in Edmonton, you can order shit in (even at ungodly hours). Simply not so in Seattle.

Speaking of soup, my newest favorite local business to support. www.soupcycle.com/For those who don't like clicking links, I'll briefly explain. This is basically a "soup of the week" club. You sign up, pick which soup you want (vegan, veggie, meat), and they deliver a quart of that soup to you door once a week. Every week, they send you the following week's soup choices, so you can choose which soup you want. For example, I picked the meat soup, so they deliver a different meat soup every week. If I want to get the veggie instead, or both the veggie and meat, I log into my account and change my order. They default to your last order if you do nothing, and because I like meat, I do nothing to get their meat soup every week. If you are going on vacation, you log in and say, "skip me next week, I won't be in town." Plus, they deliver the soup via bicycle, and all of their ingredients are hippie friendly, so it's good for the environment and shit. You only wish you had this in Canadia. Catherine's been having a lady deliver her soups via bicycle once-a-week for like a year now. She's called 'the soup mama.' She has a blog where she updates what type of soup she'll be delivering to her 'soup buddies' each week. thesoupmama.com/Catherine seems to think it's like the greatest thing in history of mankind - --that girl can put away some soup.

I can't believe we don't have something like that in Victoria. I know there's lots of fresh produce to your door services, but methinks I have to do some investigating! God damn I love soup!

Living in San Diego has given me a newfound appreciation for the burrito. It was already awesome, but it turns out it can be even awesomer than I realized.
My dinner tonight in 4 words: Carne asada burritos. Delicious.

It's on the way-ish to Palm Springs from where I live, by coincidence.

Im thinking about making "healthier than you'd expect" peanut butter balls today. Chia seeds, ground flax, maybe hemp protein powder... any other suggestions?
The recipe is something like... peanut butter rolled oats honey whateverthefuck else
I'm thinking of melting some super dark chocolate and dipping them half in that for extra deliciousness. Maybe cut the peanut butter with half of a healthier nut butter... almond?

NO REAL NAMES
Megatron made some and didn't give one to me? WTF? I thought we were tight? And I was going to leave some for you guys. Bitches.
I made two batches. I found the first batch a bit sweet...
First batch was: Natural PB Unpasturized Honey Agave Syrup (thanks megan...) Vanilla (...thanks megan...) Oats Chia Flax Unsweetened coconut Half dipped in melted dark chocolate
Second set I cut out the agave and instead halved the peanut butter with sweetened PB.
I put the ingredients into a program.. I figure they are about 200 calories a piece, but packed full of energy, fibre, protein and goodness.
