Stormy is an incredible cook. Plenty dudes say that about their wives, but this is legit. Everyone we know is just completely blown away by Stormy's cooking. Just wondering, what sort of dishes are her strong suits? At Sasquatch and otherwise.

Oh, dudes, I made epic breakfast burritos for like twenty people last year. I also made these rad energy bars that were really great to have during the day in the venue.
And at home my most proud accomplishment is my chili. I am a modest person but my chili is awesome and people ask for it. I kind of just make things I hear about or feel like, but recently there has been a rad minestrone and a couple of standout pasta dishes. I like to just read a recipe and take it from there, I go by taste and smell. Oh, and I'm not really a fancy cook, I don't really cook a lot of things that are very fussy.

Stormy--
I love that your man gave you props for your cooking!
When I cook, I also love getting creative with recipes. I NEVER follow a recipe exactly. I'm a relatively new cook, but I'm told that the things I make are more than palatable and I secretly enjoy making/trying new things. I try my best to keep everything healthy, too though. Have you ever heard of SparkRecipes?
You'll have to teach me how to make the energy bars! Those sound tasty.

I have heard of it I think, but have never used it. I like to look at several different recipes for something and pick and choose what I think sounds good and then take it from there. I just have a lot of fun with it.
I will find the recipe. It is more like a formula I guess because you can add the different fruits and nuts and stuff that you like. It has coffee in it too for a pick me up.

if only we could have a chili cookoff!!! Chili is my speciality, as well. That would be rad. Everyone is a winner at a chili cook off because you get to eat all that tasty chili. Are you in the beans or no-beans camp?

Me too. Sometimes when I bake, I get too creative and mess it all up. I am certainly a better cook than baker. I hear you're usually either one or the other. I will often times look up 3 or 4 different takes on a particular recipe and make my on hybrid of everything. I thank to Food Network's webpage for that! I'm definitely interested in the bars! Especially since you add coffee! What a great idea. sparkrecipes.com/ <--this is a great page. You can look up recipes by calories, diet, meat, course, etc. I swear by it.

I love beans. I use kidney beans in mine. I have thought about adding another kind. I am always trying to make it better.

I guess the real secrets are in the spices anyway. Here's the types of beans I use in mine... Black Beans, Garbanzos, Kidney Beans and Chili Beans in hot sauce (bush makes them)
