I encourage everyone to go back and read this thread from the beginning. This: Why are we still talking about this stupid bus. was the extent of my 'personal attacks' on the bus guy. In fact bus guy was getting off with substantially less hazing than the average poster. That was followed by this: WHY DO WE TALK ABOUT FUKKIN BUSES SO DAMN MUCH ON THIS BOARD to which bus guy responded as follows: Maybe I should quit my job, and spend 12 hours a day on this so I could earn that kind of power! ;D That's the 'unacceptable conduct' that sent bus guy down the Bitchfoot Trail. I know I do a lot of nose-pulling on this board, but in this case I didn't do shit, thank you very much. |

No need to explain yrself. You are a well-documented asshole. Most of the people on the board enjoy friendly banter. A problem arises when someone can’t handle light-hearted mockery and turns good-natured dickishness into personal attacks. Drew is a classic example of someone who takes joking in stride. I appreciate the hell out of that. Other people look for a fight. Bus It Out! was looking for a fight weeks ago. Short answer: Quit being dicks Long answer: Titles like Grandma and Rookie of the Year don't make you moderators and there is no need to devote your lives to making people feel stupid |

here's what i've decided... everyone takes this board way too fucking seriously.
Talking Bus... if we think your bus is kind of silly - just let it roll of you, brah. there's no need to make things personal. i'm sure there's dozens of other people who'll think it's an absolutely rad idea who'd love to party in a pimped out school bus.

You guys remember the first boarder no one liked? I don't think he drove a bus, but he went by bobert, and talked all kinds of smack about how much DCFC sucks, etc, etc. Then after the festival, he was so elated (maybe he was still high on E) that he posted about how much he loved Sasquatch and everyone he bad-mouthed, and how DCFC blew his mind. Then he rode off into the sunset never to be heard of again... |
