Hey all, my friend and I are looking for a ride from Victoria to and from Sasquatch. We could alternatively potentially get to the other side of the Port Angeles ferry, if someone wants to pick us up there? We're also looking for camping/lodging, where should we look for this? Also we are both 16, would there be any border crossing issues?

It would be much easier to get a ride if you took the victoria clipper to Seattle. Camping is included with your ticket. There is a chance I could give you a ride. I will get back to you once I figure out my plans.

Yeah, I agree that the Clipper to Seattle is a good idea, albeit a little pricey. I don't think going to Port Angeles will be that beneficial. I'd be willing to bet more people will be coming from the Island than from the Olympic Peninsula. Alternatively you could ferry to Vancouver, but either way you may have some trouble as minors driving across the border with a stranger. You'll definitely want to have a note from mommy and daddy. My friend and usual Sasquatch ride is a high school teacher, and a couple years ago one of his students (who was 17 at the time) got stranded at Sasquatch because her ride left with out her. She ended up coming back with us, and we got pulled over at the border and had to answer some questions inside. It was a fun one to explain.

Oh, and Re: camping/lodging: your festival ticket includes camping at the Gorge campground. Why not just use that?
