Also, holy shit does that ever make the other tattoo look terribly faded. Next tattoo session will be some serious retouching of that one.

So yesterday, being May 4th, is the day many also refer to as "May the fourth be with you". A bunch of friends of mine who are local tattoo artists put together a fund raiser to support B.C's Children's Hospital revolving around this May the fourth/Star Wars theme. 15 tattooers from across Vancouver Island donated their time to draw up, and tattoo, a variety of Star Wars flash pieces (85 different designs in total were offered) with each tattoo having a minimum fee of $60, which is a screaming deal! 100% of the proceeds earned from this event were donated to the Children's Hospital. It was a huge success and a super fun time! I got myself this little jammer to help out to the cause... and also because it's rad!  |
