That was ridiculous. My dog is half her size and hops right out. Cutest though.

She's afraid of the dumbest things. If we want to stop her from going on the couches while we're out, we just have to block the doorway with a broom. She's terrified of brooms.

For my dog it's gates, sneezes, change clinking together or vacuums.

So we had our first puppy crisis tonight. A recently rescued German Sherpard broke its leash and attacked Chuck at the dog park. He's totally fine, just a couple shallow cuts on his leg, but it was pretty scary! This being a parent thing is intense, yo!

Ugh I can only imagine. Same thing happened to us last year except it was our rescue dog that did the attacking. That's why we couldnt go to osheaga last year is because we paid the vet bill for the other dog. Glad he's ok.

Eek Shax! We've been really lucky so far because even though Chuck was scared of literally everything he didn't lash out because of that fear. I can't imagine how hard it must be to get through the "we love you and we're not going to let anything hurt you" period with a bigger or more aggressive dog. I have so much respect for people who do it though. The guy who owned the Shepard last night was such a good dog owner, it just turned into a situation that nobody could be prepared for. And based on the photos that you've postsd here of you guys and your puppies you've obviously gotten through the rough stuff, because they look so happy!

Also, even though it's only 12 pages long, this is totally my favorite thread on the board. Pets you guys, seriously.

Once the weather get's less shitty here, I'm going to post a video of Lola and the garden hose. It's hilarious. In the meantime settle for some cuddle time.
