Yes I know I am a gaming caveman. I just beat The Legend of Zelda for the first time. High five?

Gamefly has been a godsend for me in the last few months. I've gotten to play a lot of games from this generation that I never would've actually bought but was always interested in. I think at this stage in the console cycle, Gamefly is a total no brainer. There's almost 8 years of games in the library of both PS3 and Xbox 360, and if you're just picking up one of those systems for the first time it is ideal. I have the 2 games at a time subscription and for a year it costs about as much as buying 4 new games. It's nice this way because I can have a multiplayer game that I play with my friends checked out for a few months until we start playing something new, and then the other game cycles out with great single player games that I play when my friends aren't around.
As far as the next gen goes, it's kind of a toss up for me. Both systems seems perfectly adequate now that Microsoft reversed their stupid used games policy, so the sole deciding factor for me will be what my friends and I agree to get so we can play online together. In any case, both consoles will have Destiny on them, and that's what I'm looking for to most in gaming in the next 12 months.

I just beat The Legend of Zelda for the first time. I've been seeing way too much talk of some amazing classic games around the internet lately. Sometime very soon I'm going to dig in my closet and play some old NES or SNES games. I've still got my whole collection of all of those from growing up. Thankfully, I never traded in games to get new ones otherwise I wouldn't have this awesome collection of memories from my childhood.

Wow. This is seriously a great year for gaming. GTAV looks like it's combining the serious narrative of GTAIV with the craziness of San Andreas. I haven't been this hyped for a game in years.

I wasn't too excited about the game before that trailer, but right after I saw that video I put the game in my gamefly queue so as to reserve myself a copy somewhere close to the release date. All of that looks like SO MUCH FUN!

My god that looks sweet Geno. Have they ever done online for GTA before. That sounds frightening.

Ya, they've done online a few times, but not particularly well in my opinion. I'm fucking pumped for this one though.

Nice grabs. Have you played any those before?
Although you should have waited a few more days. I'm sure most of those games will go a lot cheaper throughout the Summer sale.

Even at $60 when I bought it new, the Orange Box was still the best deal I've ever gotten in gaming. Now at $10 or less? It's unreal how much amazing content you're getting for that price.

Look, you could've saved $1.35 by buying Legend of Grimrock today! What remorse you must have!

I've played Portal and KOTOR before. But KOTOR was on console, which I think adversely affected my enjoyment of it, so I'm gonna give it another go on PC. The funniest part about all this is that I still haven't finished Heart of the Swarm.

Never played the first Witcher, but I've been lovin The Witcher 2 lately.

I've played HL2 at LAN parties back in the day, but never got to play the campaign. I'm pretty excited.
Also just bought Portal 2 and the full season of Walking Dead, neither of which I've played yet. $16 well spent, I think.
