Yep. Officially back on the COD bandwagon after a 2ish year break. The new one isn't anything special at all but I'm sucked back into multiplayer just like before.

Skyward Sword! Skyward Sword! Skyward Sword!!!! The only problem is that it comes out on Sunday and the bf has been hinting heavily that I shouldn't buy it until after my birthday in December. Well, I guess it's not that big of a problem. But I wanna play now goddammit! It looks like it's going to be so freaking awesome. The reviews have been so good! FUCK YES! I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THIS! |

Okay so I started Skyward Sword last night, and so far so good, of course. I thought the beginning of Twilight Princess dragged on a little too long, but this one doesn't mess around for too long. Anyone else started? Or finished?

I game only on my PC. I just bought a new rig that crushes games on their highest settings. Funny thing is since buying it I've kinda got out of gaming for the time being, but I know I'll get back into it eventually. It comes in waves for me. Okay so I started Skyward Sword last night, and so far so good, of course. I thought the beginning of Twilight Princess dragged on a little too long, but this one doesn't mess around for too long. Anyone else started? Or finished? I just plan to live vicariously through you for a while, then when I can't take it anymore, I'll break down and buy it. EDIT: Actually I just finished playing Majora's Mask a bit ago, am going through Ocarina of Time again for the first time in a good 8-10 years, and then am replaying Twilight Princess again, THEN I'll probably cave in and buy Skyward Sword. I watched the IGN review of it and it looks fantastic except for some reason the graphics turn me off in a way I'm not sure of. The characters almost seem too goofy. I like the subtly quirky characters they've had in the past (okay, subtle may not actually be the correct word after seeing a character like Tingle), but the characters almost look kind of like something out of a Saturday morning cartoon now (do those even exist anymore? that might be irrelevant). |
