They are opening for Primus in September, rather peculiar pairing but should be great. Primus is amazing live.

hey biff, how about all of those last minute bands that got added this year! man they were fantastic. How about them? Didn't Mt. St. Helens play? Oh yeah, I must have said Ween couldn't headline because they suck...no, no that was that Modest Mouse boy now wasn't it. Carry on

Are you guys there for the bands or the crowd? Everyone says how bad it was 2 years ago, I didn't notice much of a difference between that year and this year other than everyone was on E this year. I'll be grabbing my tickets around Christmas again this year, if everyone had as great of time this year because of the great crowd then they will do the same.
Rage, Jamiriquai and Belle & Sebastian would be 3 great headliners.

Rage is going into the studio this fall so I would think that they might be playing. Timewise it makes sense and they would rock the Gorge like Ween did.

Comparig this year to last year my friends and I were amazed at how packed the hill was. Even with some of the bigger names last year there was no comparison to this year in the middle of the day. Did they sell more tickets this year?

1. Ween - Seen them before and wasn't shocked by how good they were, perfect ending to a great weekend. 2. LCD Sounsystem - Never listened to them before so I had no expectations going in. They fuckin rocked. 3. Public Enemy - Saw them in London a few years ago at Brixton Academy and about 14 years ago and this was the best I've seen them by far, they were on. 4. Band Of Horses - Expected them to be good but no idea that they would be that good. 5. The Hold Steady - Amazing energy, glad I chose them over the National as I was looking to dance.

Just saw him over the weekend with The Nurses and the guy puts on an amazing show. Will be checking him out at the festival as well, hopefully he is just as good outdoors as he is in a bar. Played a great cover of Graceland which was a pleasant surprise, awesome guitar player.

I forgot, some people on this board have said that there is no chance of any additions to the schedule. I guess that time slot is reserved for the clowns on this board to go on stage and tell us how much they know and how little everyone else knows. Fucking idiots These are nothing more than our wishes; there is nothing really confirmed or known here. "...tell us how much they know and how little everyone else knows."<--?? You smell arrogance, but its source is elsewhere good sir. Have a look into some other thread, i'm positive that someone stated that no other bands will be added and anyone who thinks that there will be must be smoking crack. Tupac is a wish? Give me a break.

It's great that you guys find all this great new music but unlesss you listen to music 15 hours/day every day then chances are you hear an amazing band which you will listen to 3 or 4 times and forget about them. I've tried to keep up with the bands that hae been announced this year and feel i've done a good job but I still only listened to about 1/4 of the bands (and i'm able to listen to music at work for 10 hours/day six days/week.
The bands that I have listened to though I have really gotten into, listened to all of the albums available and know what to expect. I just don't see how its possible make a good decision with minimal listens to a bands album/discography.

Shit, and I thought you said that NO BANDS WILL BE ADDED. Do I think a headliner will be added? No Do I think that a mid to late day band might be added, sure. Do you have anything to make me believe that there won't be?? Didn't think so. Get over it man! We've been through this discussion multiple times before and the likelihood of another major addition is not going to happen! Stop whining, crying and just ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS...FUCKING AWESOME! Where do you see me complaining about the line-up, I think it's great. Ween is an excellent way to end the festival, I've only seen them once and they blew my mind, can't wait to see them again. My point is that some people seem to think that it's impossible and never happen that another act might be added, I happen to think otherwise. Nowhere did I say a headliner and nowhere did I say a major addition. Peatrick said that it won't happen that another band will be added, I disagree.

I guess Adam Zacks Q & A on COS has no credibility? I seem tothink that I might believe him over you but keep telling everyone that what you say goes. you're right, i feel so stupid right now. it's only a matter of time before they finally decide to announce the REAL headliners! Shit, and I thought you said that NO BANDS WILL BE ADDED. Do I think a headliner will be added? No Do I think that a mid to late day band might be added, sure. Do you have anything to make me believe that there won't be?? Didn't think so.

The thing about surprise guests is that they're probably not the HEY ONE WEEK LEFT BEFORE THE FEST MIGHT AS WELL TELL YOU THAT BY "WEEN" WE ACTUALLY MEAN "NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL" surprise guests. They're YALL HAVIN A GOOD TIME? YEAH? WELL FOR THIS NEXT SONG OUR FRIEND FEIST IS COMING OUT surprise guests. Not something that would change the schedule. So you think that Feist might show up to the Gorge to play a song or 2? Similar to Neko Case, you must think that there would be no chance of her playing a solo set? I'm not saying that NWA minus Easy-E will be added but I also think that someone who says the line-up is set in stone might be stunned.

yea...we do know. all of the big names have been added. all of the small names have been added. everyone has been added. I guess Adam Zacks Q & A on COS has no credibility? I seem tothink that I might believe him over you but keep telling everyone that what you say goes. Will there be any big changes to this year? Any surprises? There are some good changes in store, most designed to improve the festivalgoers ease of experience and some just to mix things up. There is a solar powered stage this year and hopefully a few surprise guests.

What else are you going to lie about? You say that you hated the "bros" last year but you wanted Modest Mouse to headline, this would bring out just as many as last year. The way you talk tough and act like a monkey (as well as MM being your favorite band) I would have to say that you are a bro, thus you should stay away from the festival this year as you are not needed. I don't even know what to do with this. It's like a weird political smear ad ("What else is InterstateEight not telling us about his policies?") mixed with near-incomprehensible playground taunts ("like a monkey"? What does that even mean?). And I am going to be at this festival bro-ing down hard. I'll be the guy without a shirt on drunkenly hitting on your girlfriend and calling everyone a f*g**t. GET STOKED. Please tell me that you will be playing "Float On" through your boombox while you do that, I love that song.

Who the hell is Vince Mira? Who were the Heartless Bastards? I was the only person (this is a fact) who came out early to see The Gaslight Anthem last year.
Wow, I thought that a fact was just that, a fact. You stated that you were the only person that came out to see them, now you say that isn't so. What else are you going to lie about?
You continue to respond by attempting to cut me down and avoiding the actual response, you have done this since I have joined the board to everyone on here.
