Say it with me now: Radiohead Is Too Big For Sasquatch! Put it to bed. Yeah! You're definitely right. Just a bit angry at myself for getting shitfaced during their set on Lolla and pretty much not remembering most of it. Trying to compensate for that with some degree of delusion. Just hope they play PNW this year, because I'm not a big fan of Coachella. Now, LCD was actually my favorite act on Lolla and I'm dying to see them again. It was my first time seeing them live and it felt like cleansing my soul (and I hadn't taken anything!). It definitely matches the Jamie xx vibe from last year. One more thing: let's start praying: "Please, Lord: no Lorde!". LCD would be incredible and from what I can tell have only booked themselves for Forecastle Festival July 14-16 so they, I assume (I hope), would still be in play for Squatch. Weezer is another act that I noticed when looking at Hangout Festival/Bottle Rock so it seems they may be in play for the festival circuit. They are booked May 19-21 and July 14-16 so they could be a possibility. I have not been a big follower of them but imagine lots of people would like to seem them. Shins would also make sense as well......Damn wish this lineup would drop sooner than later!

Haim would be great. Saw them a few years back and came away super impressed. Would be great to see them again. Even though I haven't seen them on other lineups the fact they have a new album coming out soon at least gives me some hope.

Sasquatch has been really good with booking groups/singers with a lead female singer. Looking at some of these crossovers I can't really tell if any fit that bill. Tove Lo seems to be doing the festival circuit so I wouldn't be surprised to see her on there. Any speculations to what artist/s would fit that bill this year? Alabama Shakes, MO and Tune Yards were some of my favorites from years past.

Aka the year none of the headliners show up. Travis Scott was an hour and a half late to his Day For Night set. He was playing on the stage where Blonde Redhead cancelled, and they were the band playing before him. Rappers, man. Would want no part of Travis Scott on the lineup. Not big on that type of rap. They can do better. They usually do a pretty good job of an even mix of different genres each year.

I really thought Chance was off the table once they announced Frank, but the whole Hangout + Governors Ball - Bottlerock formula has me cautiously optimistic. Hell, if Gov Ball has both Chance and Childish Gambino on its top row, I don't see why we can't have Chance and Frank on ours. Look at all of the rap on Coachella's poster. 6 hip-hop/rap artists on the top two lines alone after only 2 last year. Give the kids what they want! Chance and Gambino would be a nice 1-2 punch after Frank Ocean (if true). Feeling optimistic about Chance and Gambino would be just selfish dreaming but got to think they have another genre of music as the headliner. Any credence to Tom Petty or Foo Fighters as a headliner?

What are the odds that Chance would be at Sasquatch with Squatch dates sandwiched in between Hangout and Governors Ball (two east coast venues)? Saw him in Seattle a few months ago and think he would be a great addition but worried the logistics of it might be tough. Any past artists known to make a similar travel before? Chance will have little to no gear to carry. Local Natives is due to play in NYC and Barcelona the same weekend and have gear to ship with them. Any rapper or button pusher will have no issue making this turn-around. Thanks for the reply. Hoping your right as he was a great performance to see live. Kaytranada is an artist I have been immensely enjoying this year and have seen out on some other festival lineups. Would love to see at Squatch as I heard he puts on a great performance as well. Already on west coast for Coachella a month before so I'm keeping my phalanges crossed.

I think we should be looking at crossovers between Hangout and Gov Ball that aren't at Bottlerock. Genghis and grundelwald were close. There are 13 acts playing Hangout and Gov Ball that aren't at Bottlerock: Chance the Rapper, Charli XCX, Marshmello, The Head and the Heart, A$AP Ferg, Gryffin, Franz Ferdinand, Local Natives, Warpaint, Mac DeMarco, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Mondo Cozmo, and Tkay Maidza. 1st time posting on this after reading it for years. Love this message board as to me is part of the fun leading up to the big weekend. That being said, couldn't agree more with this. Has Sasquatch set a lineup release date yet? Can't seem to find that on their website. Would be in their best interest to release the lineup earlier. Woo-hoo! I inspired a lurker to post! I feel accomplished. To answer your question: no, they haven't. Tickets go on sale January 28th and the lineup is usually announced a couple days before the on sale date. I know that's only 3 weeks away, but I so feel like they should announce sooner. The lineup has to be at least 95% complete already, so there's no good reason to wait. Even if they announce with a couple question marks or TBAs on the poster, that would just be that much more interesting in my opium. Edit: not fixing that auto correct. Thanks for info. Hoping they release it early. Gotta think that a change in their system is at least in order if they are trying to recoup ticket sales. I buy it every year regardless so what do I know?

Mans, Sasquatch really needs to catch up on the trend of releasing lineups earlier in the year, like many others have been the last 2-3 years. Quite frankly it's underwhelming seeing other lineups with obvious hints and hopeful gets, makes the lineup announcement a little too predictable. On the other hand, for the regular music consumer (not us), when our lineup drops, it immediately lacks the pizzaz or "wow factor" of others because everyone knows who's playing the festival circuits already. Sorry for this rant but message to SASQUATCH!, Jive Nation, Snacks, you messing up! This is the shit that dampens your ticket sales. I'm still hopeful the lineup will be fire enough this year to sell close to all the tickets for the weekend. We'll see. I was having this same thought earlier today related to my earlier point about Sasquatch needing to attract people from other parts of the country and motivate them to travel to the Gorge. I imagine the average festival goer can't afford more than one cross country destination festival a year and every lineup that comes out has a chance to be the one the pick. The inclusion of Tool on top of Gov Ball, for example, would be enough to get some people to travel to NY. That's one less person buying a Sasquatch ticket. Snacks needs to hurry up and get this lineup out before too many more announce. 1st time posting on this after reading it for years.
