PJ is not a stretch. Their roots are here and some of their biggest most famous shows have been at the Gorge.

I noticed some of these bands are in the line-up for Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands, which doesn't necessarily rule them out. I know in the past when Pinkpop has followed the week after Sasquatch!, bands have still played at both (The Frames, The Kooks, Jamie Lidell, and I believe a few others). 2008 Lineup for Pinkpop Friday 30 May - Metallica - Incubus - Flogging Molly - Alter Bridge - Animal Alpha - Sat2D - From first to last - Porcupine Tree - Jonathan Davis Saturday 31 May - Foo Fighters - Kaiser Chiefs - Editors - KT Tunstall - Moke - The Verve - Stereophonics - Eagles of Death Metal - Bad Religion - Air Traffic - Groove Armada - Justice - Amy MacDonald - Voicst - Blood Red Shoes Sunday 1 June - Rage Against The Machine - Queens of the Stone Age - Alanis Morissette - Racoon - Gavin DeGraw - Fiction Plane - Counting Crows - Serj Tankian - The Hives - Cavalera Conspiracy - The Wombats - Róisín Murphy - Saybia - Pete Murray - Kate Nash - Patrick Watson Not a single one of these acts played at Sasquatch 2008 - The kooks played in 2007 at pinkpop 2008 at sasquatch True that it doesn't entirely rule them out but the odds are extremely low that there are any repeats.

All this talk of who will be there lets be sure and eliminate the obvious with tour conflicts. Here are some people that may or may not fit the bill but will not be there because they are playing a euro festival within days. Let me know who else wont be there for sure because of tour conflicts.

I saw Costello open for the police at the gorge last summer. he was great but only had about a 30 minute set which is not nearly enough. I would support bringing him back

I think the ability to keep the majority of the lineup so under wraps is a strength of Sasquatch. Last year we had all pretty well guessed that R.E.M/Modest Mouse tour would hit and the Cure had been announced in like November because of the previously canceled tour but outside of that it was mostly a suprise. I was dumbfounded when i saw the F lamming Lips show up on the line up. I was not expecting that at all;.

Oasis sounds like a plausible choice. I think that could be a reality.

I dont think that Ghostland is big enough to open into one of the headliners and their set woudl be lame if it wasnt dark.
If Ozomatli is back again I wont be on principal alone (only kidding of course but seriously)
Here are my random guesses for next year
Saturday: Rage Against the Machine (they owe us, no NW shows since reunion) The Decemberists MGMT Hot Chip Pepper
Sunday: Wilco Weezer (let me keep dreaming, my buddy got my hopes up last year plus a new album?) The National Rilo Kiley The Shins Justice
Monday: Pearl Jam (Northwest flavor in full force) Tool (a dual headliner day perhaps? See Ben Harper/Flamming Lips and NIN/Bahaus 2006) Vampire Weekend Gogel Bordello The Fratellis Queens of the Stone Age

I couldnt possibly disagree more. It was very gimmicky. We have all see rap rock before and as far as I am concerned Crudo is just a limp bizkit cover band.

I can not speak to your camping concerns but you should note that parking is free in the parking lot. dont fall for the "premiere parking" scam
