No chairs of any kind can be brought in. I am 100% sure of it
Nice to see a fellow Spokane resident. What part of town?

go to your car and turn on the radio.
just kidding of course
the spree's impromptu set occured at the second stage last year. I have heard of artists playing small acoustic sets at the merch booth before too.
If the weather gets bad there is really no go to spot to catch some tunes

I am (sort-of) looking for a ride from around the SEA-TAC area, I am flying to seattle, and wondering if anyone is coming from that area, I may just take the train. I am afraid you will be disappointed with the train , as in there isn't one.

I would be interested in a steal on a pair of the VIP. Preferably for all 3 days but if only Monday then so be it.
what type of price are you looking at?

Well its really a case of to each there own. Traditional Inn is the closest to the gorge, however the rooms are small and smelly the service is bad and the rates are too high. I am all about the moses lake shilo inn. last time i stayed at the motel 6 is moses lake and that was a disaster.

Screw camping I am too old and particular for that.
To all you campers I hope you have a blast. For the rest of us lets hear it for Moses Lake, Ellensburg, and Vantage hotels.
If you are staying at the Shilo Inn Suites lets hear it.

Just noticed that pollstar posted a date for The Decemberists to play on Saturday in bend, OR with DCFC. Possible addition?

I guess my argument is that The Breeders are billed 3rd on the Coachella lineup so why would they agree to close a side stage at a smaller festival when they are leading in sub headliners at arguably the biggest fest in the US

I would disagree with The Breeders being on the second stage. I would say they would actually bill higher than The National. Could be wrong
Also could you run Sunday as well?

If the choice is the Decemberists or Ryan Adams I will take the Decemberists.
But really I would like both

The days are still pretty uneven. They need some more bands to help even it out. I would bet we get 5-8 more acts between now and the actual date. Hell the spree wasnt added until a few weeks before last year if i remember correctly
on a side note my tickets arrived today. so happy

wow. I am not one to try and start an argument over the internet, but are you being serious? I notice your name.... does this mean you actually still live in London? That would make a lot more sense. In the PNW Modest Mouse and DCFC are two of the biggest names in indie music.
I would NEVER consider Modest Mouse to be filler music for the hills. DCFC could be, but that doesn't make them any less talented or popular.
What is this about the spree? Dont get me wrong the spree is okay but seriously they are no where near the caliber as Modest Mouse or DCFC in talent, popularity or following.
You have never heard of The Mars Volta or Built to Spill?
I am just flabbergasted.

Tom, who is the sometimes reliable source about Weezer? That is awesome! Hope it happens! A buddy of mine that does IT support for Ticketmaster. He said he was helping a web designer set up the purchase page for Sasquatch! and it said featuring R.E.M, The Cure, Modest Mouse, Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, and more! Now in 2006 he alerted me to the NIN announcement weeks before it hit the press. I assumed he was a solid source because of it. In 2007 he told me that the headliners were going to Beastie Boys and The Police. Obviously he was quite incorrect on The Police situation. At this point I am not sure Weezer is a viable option for all the same reasons that everyone else pointed out. I was just wanting to make it clear I was not making random guesses and calling them rumors.

Yeah, I think it is more of a guess than a solid rumor. Also, Ozomatli is going to be at Sasquatch! ozomatli.com/site.php?content=livePersonally I don't care for them, but some news nonetheless...... No it is not a guess at all. It is a solid rumor from a sometimes reliable source. I for one am very hesitant as well, but it is in no way a guess

Isn't the disabled seating next to the soundboard stage thing in the middle? I think that is the premier seating. I am really not at all sure where the disabled seating is

to be completely honest i cant think of anywhere in the venue that would accommodate disabled seating. don't hold me to it but nothing comes right to mind.
reminds me of a slightly inappropriate story. For a long time i went to Ozzfest every year at the gorge. There was this rocker dude who would show up in a wheel chair and crowd surf...... in his wheel chair. Bands loved to pull him up on stage. I always thought it was cool!
