I don't get how some of you gladly accept a newb who over-posts about mindless shit, yet feels the need to shit talk a newb who types like an adult and happens to like sports. Do you really think seeing HAIM for the fuckteenth time is more important than seeing your favorite team play for the championship? Fuck that. Machomansaccountant, I've never seen a TV at Sasquatch, and this is my tenth year. I've never done VIP, and some here have, but I doubt they were sober enough to remember a TV. I get no internet at Sasquatch, but I do have somewhat regular text access. In my opinion, you're fucked, unless someone is texting you the score. It's technically against the rules to leave the campground and be allowed back in. That is your best bet. Find a bar in a city near the amphitheater, call them to make sure they'll have your game, then roll out and back in when the game ends. Like you said, Euro soccer matches happen early, so you won't miss anything, assuming you can get back in. EDIT: Daver beat me to it. I'm curious to hear about Daver's secret internet as well. I have a feeling it's just thousands of Canadians getting text updates from non Sasquatch attendees, and yelling out what they hear. EDIT EDIT: Daver is a bigger pile than I originally expected. Nice work. Thanks for the understanding! I don't get the uproar about watching a game at 11 in the morning. Yeah I figured I'm pretty much fucked unless I can get a half decent am/fm reception.

If the BCers made it through when the Canucks were in the playoffs you can make it without a game of football. Why on earth would you go to a music festival and watch something that literally has no impact on your life at that very moment while you're surrounded by wonderful music and a great view. To be fair, I don't think I missed a single second of any Canucks games while at Sasquatch. Did you just stream it using your phone or how did you watch it?

Going to Sasquatch this year and I'm wondering if someone could tell me about the View Bar as I haven't been able to find any information on it. I ask because I am a big soccer fan and was wondering if they have TV's where they could show the UEFA Champion's League final? It's on Saturday May 24th at 11:45 am so I imagine at least some people would be willing to watch it since there is nothing really going on at that time. If anyone else has any alternatives for watching the match on site or in the campgrounds I would be glad to hear them! There's a huge difference. The canucks game actually interfered with the bands and is part of a best of 7 series. This soccer match is a best of one final that starts in the morning when nobody is playing and only interferes with half a set of a band. Not to mention the fact that I cheer for one of the teams and used to play in one of their schools.
