I recommend y'all check out A Band Called Death on Netflix.
I just hope they still put on a good show.

EDIT: AND HOLY SHIT, A PARTY WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE CLOSED BY FUCKING MAJOR LAZER. INSANE. They closed in 2011 as well, and it was bonkers. I might have been too inebriated Jeff'd at the time to understand that that the last performance of the weekend. People can hate Skrillex all they want, but that was as fun of a back-to-back as you can get.

After finishing playlists for both weekends, July's undercards are fucking phenomenal and significantly more interesting than May's.

Just spotted Mutual Benefit hanging out at the bottom of July. Don't know how I missed that but I really liked Love's Crushing Diamond, which came out last year. Holy shit, one of my favorite albums last year. These lineups are unjeffingbelievable.

NO YOU CAN COUNT ON ME
Also, a delightful lack of radio indie on that second Jeffup. Plus Oneohtrix Point Never!

Is Haim really that popular? They're pretty damn high up on the Jeffup but they just released their first album a few months ago. I haven't been hearing it get any radio play either. I am in your camp but apparently they are. They've been super hyped as the new band to see at Coachella (second/third line listing on their lineup too).

Underrated dance fun incoming. I'm going to both weekends, but May is going to definitely be the wild/party one.

It's going to break my heart when Gesaffelstein and QotSA play at the same time, because that's basically a guarantee. I know. I've seen Queens before but none of my friends have. Gesaffelstein is my number one priority since I've been praying to Zacks from 2011 to yesterday for him (if they got Brodinski too I would have probably made horrible life decisions last night).

Price range cost didn't increase either. So $350 and $550 yeah?

So I've never listened to Royksopp, but last.fm is telling me they're similar to The Knife? Oh man there are so many bands on this Jeffup that I'm excited to explore. Dunno about that comparison but I really like 'em, I hope they aren't just backing Robyn.

I heard something about if you buy the two weekend pass you get a bracelet that works for both. Is that right? Can't imagine keeping that thing on for a month between festivals.

So are we anticipating two or three late night sets? For sure Saturday will have a late night (CUT COPY HOLY BALLS), but looking at it I can't picture Die Antwoord or Gogol being late nighters, so maybe no Friday late nights? They both seem rowdy enough to close out a night. Both put on a Jeff-damn show.

Holy shit. The more I look at it, the more unbelievable both weekends are going to be. Robyn leading into Kraftwerk?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Didn't even notice Mikal Cronin is on JulyJeff! Weekend 2 seems fuller than May, but May is still based as Jeff.

I am going to go to both. If you're trying to have fun with your non-musically-obsessed friends, May is perfect because there are a bunch of good bands medley'd with the mindie party playlist onslaught of Foster, Kid Cudi, etc.
July is going to be unreal though with those headliners. Also there is some amazing bluegrass-folk if that's any of y'alls cup-of-tea (if my sister goes the second weekend, you bet your ass we're going to Punch Brothers and Carolina Chocolate Drops).
Really, both weekends have a couple things for EVERYBODY. Also the strongest headlined Sasquatches I've personally attended.

Facebook is already flooded with people trying to buy tickets. It appears half of them don't even realize general sale hasn't happened yet. AN OCEAN OF MOUTH BREATHERS
