It can be annoying to drive back, but it can be done. Lots of people drive back even farther the night of. Just make sure you're rested because the drive is pretty desolate and easy to doze off on. I'm still not sure how they are doing camping for single day folks. I'm guessing it is still full price, but I did hear a rumor that Sunday day tickets can get discounted camping, only on Sunday night My understanding is that you can buy day only parking passes. They look to be $30 on the ticket check out but who knows what additional fees add. I imagine it doesn't allow overnight camping but $30 is a lot easier to stomach than $100. Yeah, I think "officially" you have to pay full price to camp on any day other than Sunday.... however "unofficially" it's worth noting that they were pretty lax last year on leaving cars overnight in day parking. I'm guessing it won't be that loose this year given how many people are coming just for one day and will be trying to sneak camping in.

Thanks chubbystackz! I'll check out the Lurkers Introduce Yourself thing and the FAQ. I did notice the line-up is pretty weak but Saturday doesn't look too bad. I'm thinking about heading back to Seattle Saturday night. Is this a good idea or do you recommend that I camp? (I only paid for a Saturday ticket) It can be annoying to drive back, but it can be done. Lots of people drive back even farther the night of. Surprisingly enough, I'm an audio engineer int he music industry but I've never been to a music festival. I just moved to Seattle from Orlando and I finally told myself that I need to attend a festival. That being said, I chose this years Sasquatch. Since I'm new to the area and my friends aren't really festival goers, it looks like I'll be going by myself. I'm writing because I was wondering if any one had any tips for a first timer going by himself. I was also wondering if there is someone or a group of people that would like to adopt me lol. I'm a sociable guy, I promise. I'm also new to forums so I don't even know if I'm doing this right lol. Let me know what you think or if you would like to adopt this newbie. P.S. - I'm driving from Seattle on Saturday and I have room in my car if anyone would like a ride! Welcome to the boards and the PNW. I'm also from Florida! (In Portland now). You've made the right choice by deciding to go to Sasquatch, though this is one of our weakest lineups, but it will be okay. You should fill out the "Lurkers Introduce Yourselves" thing, check out the FAQ thread, and as for going alone the first tip is make friends with the people camping around you! The rest will work itself out. You're about to meet all of your new best friends at Sasquatch!

Ok it was a real life happening. Let me know if you see a website change, lolz. Wow. The website does indeed say gates open at noon Fri-Sun now. Got me wondering if I imagined them saying 3:00 for Friday, but I swear I double checked before I posted that.

Well, then they need to update the website because it still says gates open at 3 on Friday. People are gonna be pissed if they miss Sloucher and Gazebos. Let me double check that I didn't actually just dream this... standby.... Ok it was a real life happening. Let me know if you see a website change, lolz.

A thought occurred to me today re: possible lineup updates and schedule delay. Currently all three days have the same number of acts, but the gates open 3 hours later on Friday vs Saturday and Sunday. If Sat & Sun are three hours longer than Fri, they should have at least 2 or 3 more acts. By that logic, we could possibly be looking at 4-6 more names being added. Do I really think it's going to happen? No, probably not. But it would explain why we don't have a schedule yet. At least 4 or they might as well leave out the ketchups and mustards too. Friday is a full day gates open at noon.
