Fun fact: the first three Ween albums I listened to, in order, were God Ween Satan, Quebec, and 12 Golden Country Greats. Fun fact: I recently had something of a mental breakdown breakthrough and now I only listen to Ween.

If rebranding means using Seinfeld gifs when I’m sure there are perfectly workable Frazier ones available, then you can count me out. What’s next? Friends? Where do we draw the line?

Perhaps I'm being naive, but I would like this board to continue as the Sasquatch board. We could be more active on the Non-Sasquatch Discussion side of things, but in the (perhaps unlikely) event Sasquatch does return in 2020 or beyond, we wouldn't be able to change the URL a second time. This. Officially, Sasquatch is just on hiatus for 2019. It's not totally dead yet. Of course, when/if it comes back, it won't be the same without Snacks at the helm but I wouldn't go completely rebranding the forum just yet. Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic (God knows it wouldn't be the first time I've been guilty of that around here), but I'm not ready to give up on Sasquatch completely yet.

I didn't even go to this set and this got me all choked up. I did not expect to cry at a Killer Mike show, but I was bawling like a baby by the end. You could tell it meant a lot to him too. He had to stop the first song 2 or 3 times because the crowd was chanting "Kill-Er Mike!" and he was getting too choked up to rap. He said this was his first festival show without Big Boi (RTJ wasn't even out yet) and he didn't think anyone would know him. He was just overcome with emotion by the reception he got and it just carried over through the whole set. At the end, he climbed over the security rail and was hugging everyone in the crowd. It felt like a show he will never forget; I know I won't. It was probably my first real taste of genuine Sasquatch magic.

I woke up this morning feeling like the world was a little less magical than it was yesterday. Then I remembered the first law of physics: Magic can neither be created nor destroyed, it only changes forms. Like I said to Nick: This isn't the end of our story, just this chapter.
Sasquatch magic was inside you all along.

Anderson .Paak put on a great show but I think I was just too exhausted to fully appreciate it as much as the other times I've seen him. Same. I was really looking forward to his set and was enjoying it, but I drank all the wine before/during The National and we were so far back and couldn’t really see and Mrs Pancakes was starting to not feel well, so we cut it short. It was hard to walk away, but he made the walk more enjoyable. In the end, I just take solace in the fact that he’ll most certainly be back to headline the festival in another year or two.

I didn't mention it, primarily because it took me a while to remember who I met, but it was super cool meeting a lot of you there. I think I met just about all of the older users that are active here, I got razzed by Pancakes for Post Malone talk immediately, saw Gang of Youths/Rosenstock with or near a few of you, and had one of the purest moments of joy at the best wedding I may ever get to attend. chubbystackz was that littlefishtheory with you or is that not the same person? Also who was the dude in the kimono that I met in gold camping? Is he on the board? I think he's jinghut's friend. Anyway, you're real people and that was a shock. Minus totinoboy because he's definitely not a real person. I'm actually convinced he's a burner account for someone here. the guy in the kimono was my friend brayden!! he isn’t from the board, just a lurker from time to time That was the guy that came up to us partying at the gold camp Thursday night freaking out because he knew of us all from the board. It was one of the strangest experiences of my life and it had me rethinking everything I’ve ever posted because sometimes I forget that literally anyone on the internet can read everything we post here. For a minute, I was thinking he was an undercover cop and was going to ask us to sell him drugs, since apparently we are the world’s most transparent drug cult.

Not sure if this link will work, but this was a freaking blast to be part of.
Choir! Choir! Choir! does Chumbawumba's Tub Thumping at Sasquatch. That was great. We talked about going to see that, but we ended up just hanging out in the little lounge area with chubbystackz and littlefishtheory through their whole set. No regrets, though. As cool as Choirx3 looked, I am infinitely more happy for the chance to finally get to actually get to sit down and chat with those two wonderful humans.

Vince Staples (to the predominantly white Sasquatch audience): "Sing along with this one, if it doesn't make you uncomfortable: These N****s won't hold me back, These N****s won't hold me back!" Me: "You're not gonna trick me like that, Vince."
