I can confidently wait for the Pemberton lineup.. missing some of those middle of the pack names might hurt but having seen a lot of those acts already in the last couple of years it's a bit underwhelming.
Friday needs some work.

Id be ok with Frank Ocean or Robyn headlining.
Drake, Florence and the Machine, Kendrick Lamar and Modest Mouse.
Lana del Ray, Run the Jewels, St Vincent, The Decemberists.

I think Florence + the Machine will be there. Just a feeling.

I hope this lineup blows my mind because right now.. 350 ticket + 150 camping/2 people = 425US per person. I guess you could have more people split camping, but still.. This could really hurt Sasquatch - I know a lot of the attendees are from Canadaland.

That Kendrick album is supposed to drop soon, according to Stereogum. Would be so sweet if it comes out around the same time it is announced that he is headling Fri night @ Sasquatch?

I'm thinking: My Morning Jacket RL Grime Kiesza San Fermin Sturgill Simpson People Under the Stairs The Lone Bellow Alvvays Over the Rhine King Tuff Based on some other lineups I've seen. Who knows though. Did we rule out Modest Mouse already?

Last year they had like a 12 day countdown or something. Then one of the headliners dropped out and they didnt release the lineup for another couple weeks. I have faith in the organizers though. Stoked to go back to Pemberton. It's almost as pretty as the Gorge.

I have the time off for work. Definitely planning on going. Will probably jump on pre-sale when they go on sale again.

Please god do not let Imagine Dragons headline or sub headline. Snacks couldnt, wouldnt and shouldnt. And I really hope Courtney Love drowns in a honey bucket before she has a chance to get out on stage. I have faith. Can we start a petition to get Robyn to headline Friday night?
How many artists from the cancelled Julysquatch do we think will make it? I think Frank Ocean, Spoon, and Jake Bugg are pretty good contenders.

Both weekends of Coachella came to around $1600 Canadian I believe, and back then our dollar was higher, so around $1450 US. That included tickets to both weekends, flights out of Bellingham, my share of a campervan rental, my share of a couple nights of a cheap hotel room and the other things you need to buy for a festival. Tickets themselves are around $900 for a pair with camping and fees. Everything else really depends on how you do it (fly vs drive, camp vs hotel...). It's an awesome experience and if festivals are your thing it's definitely a must see, just depends if the lineup this year is the one you decide to pull the trigger on. The lineup is pretty solid. So many acts play at the same time though, I might get a little disappointed. Im sticking to Pemberton and Sasquatch (hopefully) this year. The dollar kills me right now. Sasquatch should accept CAD.

Tame Impala Alabama Shakes Nero Azealia Banks Flying Lotus Caribou Todd Terje and the Olsens Kimbra Reverend Horton Heat Ab-Soul alt-J Hozier FKA Twigs Tyler the Creator Father John Misty The War on Drugs RTJ Toro y Moi Parquet Courts Perfume Genius Drake Florence + the Machine St. Vincent Jamie xx Mac DeMarco Built to Spill I sadly, mistakenly, fucked up and didn’t go to Sasq last year so if there are acts who played and obviously won’t play this year then fuck, oh well. I read this like a week ago but didn't login on my phone. This is bang on dude, thanks for putting this together. I only attended Pemberton, but it was a blast. The camping was a shitshow but it didn't matter once you got in. I hope Pemberton gets some after hours shit going on like the Red Bull truck at Sasquatch. It would help prevent chicken fights, lol.
How much did it cost you to go to Coachella roughly? I have a group of friends we are trying to work it out. The lineup release is coming soon and if it blows our minds we might dig in to the savings accounts.

I agree, RTJ + Kendrick seems like a pretty strong possibility. I feel like Pemberton will get Kanye or Drake this year. As for Arcade Fire, I know they just played the Gorge but I think they still might have a shot based on their popularity. The Canadian dollar is shite right now and just getting worse. Horrible time to buy festival tickets. I don't want to have to choose between this again in 2015. edit: Is Florence + the Machine headliner material? I think they're pretty big, no?
