Personally, I like that there is 2 separate lineups but it would be nice if the player on the website and rdio playlist were separated.
You can choose to play a song from Maysquatch, but then once visiting the artists page there are artists from Julysquatch that show up. Would be cool to check out only artists from one Sasquatch at a time before diving into 100+ artists??

No one really knows. Some people who claim to know things say they are struggling to find acts. It really isn't that weird for a festival in July to not have a line-up (what the fuck , why did you just take that word away) yet. is 2 weeks before Pemberton and JUST released its s, and in the past there wasn't even a July. They might go ahead, but I'm expecting it to be much smaller than they initially hoped for, which is how you should start a festival anyway. You'd think they'd learn from the first one, throwing a 40K person festival from the start does not usually work well. I definitely agree. I won't be buying a Squamish ticket because of the insane prices, but am trying to win tickets because there are loads of radio stations in BC giving out weekend passes right now. But honestly, I am interested to see if Squamish can handle this festival. I read somewhere on their facebook page that they do not allow camp stoves at all, but there is an area which you can bring electrical appliances to cook.... I did not check the website any further, but to me this seems like a hard thing to control. And a lot of the attendees at Squamish are probably first-time festival goers.

Unfortunately, I might only be able to buy a ticket for May right now (barely). May is the #1 choice because most of my friends are attending this festival. I have not bought my ticket yet. So, if anyone wants to hookup and is planning on attending Julysquatch, we could save some money. Preferably someone living in Canada.
But after listening to some of the artists from Julysquatch, I have decided that I must try to attend both festivals. The talent is mind-blowing. Unfortunately, I can't afford it..
I just got back from a few months of backpacking through Europe so I have a few hundred dollars in cash but am currently not working, so buying music festival tickets shouldn't really be my first priority but... It's and missing these weekends would kill me. Hopefully I'll be working by next week - but I am really not sure.
I don't expect anyone to buy tickets for me, but do you know of any radio stations giving away tickets to people who live outside the US? I live in BC and have attended the last 2 years.

I had never listened to them more than the one song I heard after watching 50/50 but they are pretty awesome.

Anyone wanna help a guy out? Weekend 2 is full of amazing rock artists - but I am probably going to attend Weekend 1, which I am stoked for.
What are some rock artists hidden in the undercard of the Maysquatch lineup?

Which Jeffsquatch do you prefer? Personally still can't decide, because I can only afford one. Most likely Julysquatch.

My grandma and mom ask me if I've heard of this Squamish Music Festival and if I'm going. Apparently a few of their friends want to go. FUCK.
Squamish Fest ruined.

I think this has turned into a camping weekend on a lake nearby and if theres a cheaper day pass we can go into the fest.

That's alright. Maybe he'll hit up another arena close by in Alberta or Washington.
Pemberton removed the "Outkast" photo from their facebook.. weird.

Macklemore and Vampire Weekend were both there.
Yeah, sadly I am disappointed with this lineup too. The undercard is pretty shitty except for a few acts. Basically each day I would maybe like to see 3-5 sets... and I do not know if that's worth spending all the money to attend a festival.
Like you said though davers, passes will sell. FUCK.
Do you guys think Eminem will have a tour date in Vancouver as well? Need to see that mother fucker before hes done with his career.
At least passes go on sale after Sasquatch is announced so I have an opportunity to decide where to go. I can't afford both this year.
