You can park your car in the "park and ride" at the gas station at George and someone from your girlfriends group can drive over and pick you up. It is just a few miles from the venue. We do it each year and have never had a problem. It is well lit and I do knot know of anyone that has had their vehicle broken into there especially since they put in the "park and ride" lot. When the fest is over they can drive you over to your vehicle and you can even bring it back into camping if you need to pick up stuff at that point. Just a suggestion. Would not give you a driving companion but it is a place to leave your car during the event.

The British girls that were looking for a ride on the rideshare page camped with us and one girls aunt had signed Elvis Costello to his first record contract so aunty called Elvis and he sent out a golf cart to get the girls and had an extended dinner with them and gave them all access wristbands. That was pretty cool!

Never saw such a mellow Sasquatch before! A young couple in front of us at the main stage were smoking a pipe very blatantly, beverage enforcement came to talk with them and confiscated their weed but then walked about 50' away and talked with their supervisor and he told them to give it back but asked the kids to not be so blatant. Win for everyone!
We did have a girl come into our camp Monday night asking for a jump so they could leave. Three chicks all obviously rolling still so we said sure, can jump the battery for you but not if any of you are driving. They said, no, none of us are driving, our sober friend is driving so we jumped their vehicle. About 5 minutes later we heard a crunch and saw the same 3 chicks trying to leave in the car graze another car and drive over a mountain of trash. Had to run in front of the car to make it stop and then got security to help us keep them from trying to leave. Security was great, nice to the ladies but said if they tried to leave they would get the sheriffs. Girls were pissed at us, said we were going to make them miss a 9:00 AM class the next morning but slept in their car for about 8 hours and headed out no doubt in much better driving condition.
This years security rocked!

From the event website: You can bring in one 20-oz., factory sealed bottle of water You can bring in a small (1 gallon), clear bag of snacks
I always bring in fresh fruit and a sandwich or crackers and cheese, something to keep you going through the day. Food at the venue for the most part sucks and is of course very expensive.
As to the camera, if it is a big camera they may question it. If it is little I don't think you will have a problem.

A friend of ours is coming from Tucson, AZ and would love to have a rider or two to share cost if anyone is still looking for a ride.

No words for how bad I feel for you Nick. Lost my best friend I have ever had 7 years ago and I still think about him almost every day. I have another gorgeous long haired shepherd but he is not my wonderful Strider and I cannot think of anything in my life that hurt more than his passing including my fathers death strangely enough. A new puppy helps but can never replace. All I can say is your life would have been less wonderful without all the experiences you have had with him. Hold the memories precious! Fuck...letting go sucks:-(

Normally your friends rolling into premier get wristbands for those that are in their vehicle. Perhaps they can get extra premier wristband but maybe not. You cannot enter premier camping without a wristband. Then can come into general camping but no entrance to premier without the wristband. Sort of luck of the draw unfortunately. Rules are though that one premier wristband for each person in your vehicle so if you are not in the vehicle they are not supposed to give them an extra wristband. Hope it works out OK for you.

Looks like the guy that needs a ride found someone willing to give him a ride and pay him $400 for his ticket so I don't think he is going to go with us. Sorry Geno.

Aw shucks Darth, really no big deal but thanks for the shout out. Drew is right, I can give the person a ride. Half our group are strangers coming together for Sasquatch so one more in the mix is really no big deal.

There is one ticket on the Portland Craigslist for $200 but the person selling the ticket needs a ride to and from the fest and that is why the low price. Does someone here need a $200 4 day pass because we could probably manage to give the person a ride to and from the event. I have contacted the person and they are open to it so let me know and we can Dr. Garbanzoure it out. Don't wait for days on this if you need it please.
Sorry...not sure how I posted this twice?
