I know Weezer have a bad rep and put out some iffy music but their show at Project Pabst in Portland was so much fun. They literally opened with a half hour straight of hits and barely let up after that. ive really enjoyed their last couple albums after a bit of a rough patch from them I agree. That combo of Summer Elaine and LA Girlz in the middle of their White Album was vintage weezer.

Someone (not me because drunk and lazy) needs to go through information's list and separate the acts who have played before from those who haven't. I feel like the ones who haven't played before will 100% be there this year. The others, I'm like 75% sure. Information earned my trust last year and he has no reason to violate this year, but I'm not convinced they didn't just dump several old files in there to mix him up. It's just weird that info has none of last year's acts...which would be reasonable.

I've actually seen this happen twice, one of which was during DFA (and was almost definitely Pea). Also saw this during Vampire Weekend in 2010. People losing their shit at Vampire Thing was one of the funniest things I've seen at Sasquatvh. So many people running full tilt down the hill...it was amazing they didn't trample each other in the stampede. With the person I saw, they scoped out the wall between the pits, and when he thought he had a chance, he sprinted, vaulted...and broke his ankle. The bouncer he had been trying to avoid (after already beefing earlier) found him and tried to kick him out, but he tried to take one step and it was pretty evident he couldn't.

The board looks basically IDENTICAL to the way it looked last year after Information dropped the leak. I was in that group...
Information was basically 100% accurate. I think I'm just going to believe it until info is proven wrong. I'm taking that plunge.

I don't exactly comprehend how that kind of a bruise is possible. I attempted to jump the barricade into the pit and basically pinwheeled off the bar, apparently landing on my entire leg. It still doesn't all add up in my head. I've actually seen this happen twice, one of which was during DFA (and was almost definitely Pea). Also saw this during Vampire Weekend in 2010.

Bjork would be best on the Bigfoot stage in the way that Kraftwerk and Cake were for their 3D sets. It would also lend to the fact that she won't drive sales despite the majority of this board loving her, and if you put her on the main stage playing against a certain campfire treat or millenial geared artist you'll see Cure 2.0. Kraftwerk never happened (#julysquatch #neverforget) and they would have surely been the main stage headliner. Cake didn't have a 3D show, they played during the day/rain on the main stage. Primus had the 3D late night Bigfoot set. If Bjork played, she would definitely be on the main stage as the headliner.

That puzzle might be the dumbest thing to ever be associated with Sasquatch. See y'all on Sunday the 22nd!

What do y'all think about the possibility of Beach House or the Avalanches? Beach House hasn't been back in quite a few years, and they just posted that they'd be doing additional dates in 2017 besides Gov Ball. The Avalanches I don't think have a conflict? (And I just really hope they're there) As much as I love Beach House and have been waiting their return - they just wrapped is their last shows and pretty much stated that concludes their tour schedule for the foreseeable future. Maybe next album cycle? See, that's what I thought too. But then they got announced for Governors Ball and just posted on Facebook to be on the lookout for a few additional dates. Hence the rampant speculation.

Anderson.Paak will be on tour with Bruno Mars and he just announced dates. He has a hole between 5.26 in Berlin and 6.01 in Frankfurt, though it's extremely doubtful that he would leave Europe just to play Sasquatch and head right back. I'd say he's likely out.

The Shins are one of the only bands I've ever seen perform on the main stage at Sasquatch that looked bored out of their minds the whole time. Shitty show, would not see again. I saw them on the main stage at Coachella that year, and also saw them play at their own show in Reno on the same tour. I would say that overall, the Shins are just kind of boring live, but I didn't get the vibe at either of those shows that the band itself was bored.

I'm not sure if this was already said, but the Shins announced tour dates today that are blatantly PNW and month of May free. They've played before, as has been mentioned. I'd say they are creeping towards likely.

Oh sweet jeebus, that would be amazing. Not sure it would solve the ticket sales problems, but I would for sure go and eat up every night of that. The Boognish is best late at night. Frank Ocean/New Order/LCD Soundsystem with a late night Ween set. Let's make it happen.
