I'm sorta bummed that The Dead Weather and Phoenix aren't on there, but I can still dream for additions. Jack White, why do you skip the Gorge so much?!?!?!?!

Broken Bells, and as long as we're collecting mashups of other bands, let's throw in Admiral Radley, composed of former Grandaddy and Earlimart members. Wasn't the existence of that band basically announced today? Might be a bit of a stretch, but who knows... They can play the yeti

I have to tip my hat to the Sasquatch organizers for again stumping us as to the majority of the lineup. I appreciate the excitement that comes with festival season and was ecstatic with last years lineup. To have the chance to see two of my favorite artists with nothing in common except for the state that they are from, the chance to see Erykah Badu and Explosions in the Sky was by far better than any headliner Sasquatch could have thrown at me that weekend. I appreciate the fact that they get a stacked lineup that is well rounded with a mix of all walks of music.
My dream would be to have LCD into Arcade Fire, but I highly doubt that AF will be there. I know they will do their best and no matter what, even if we get JJ, it will be way more fun than Bonnaroo this year!

It was every 6 minutes and the problem with doing this, was it built expectations so high by the end when they named Stevie Wonder, people were pissed because they were expecting Neil Young and Roger Waters.
My only advice at this moment is to not get your hopes up to high that it is a let down in the end. However, I'm squealing like a little girl and will be on edge until tonight.
My last list: Pavement, The Flaming Lips, LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, Vampire Weekend, The Dead Weather, Phoenix, The National, The New Pornographers, Broken Social Scene, Band of Horses, Passion Pit, Devo, Fucked Up, She & Him, Dirty Projectors, Joanna Newsom, Broken Bells, 2ManyDJs, Mastodon, SDRE, Quasi, Hot Chip, Chromeo, Dr. Dog, the xx, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Janelle Monae, Gang Gang Dance, Dan Deacon, Mew, !!!, Hockey, Japandroids, Girls, Local Natives,The Middle East, Jamie Liddel, Mayer Hawthorne, Miike Snow, Flying Lotus, Why?, Nada Surf, Tallest Man on Earth, The Antlers, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Baroness, Neon Indian, Pyramiddd, Yacht, Glitch Mob, Wale, The Constellations, Vetiver, Morning Teleportation
Remember I don't know shit and am from Idaho so give me a break!!!

How mean is that to have a prolific Canadian band like the New Pornographers when most of our friends from the North have to leave. Lets just add Broken Social Scene and Neil Young to be friends!!!

Sonic Youth would be amazing. I can't wait to see them at ATP NY.
I highly doubt Monsters of Folk will be there too.

Yes yes yes yes, but they're at Primavera. It was just a wish, but are they playing Primavera? I wouldn't put it past that fest to steal another great artist.

How possible is The Arcade Fire? They put on an incredible show in 07. Could be a possible headliner (similar to The Flaming Lips in persona). I'd rather they be a subheadliner but the days of Bjork and Beastie Boys headlining may be temporarily behind us with the economy where it is. I really wish my thesis on this didn't get deleted along with the rest of the pre-crisis Headliners thread... In short, if the information from January is still true (album in early Summer, doing festivals first) then it is now guaranteed that the Arcade Fire headline Sasquatch this year on the grounds that the next suitable festivals are in August. I miss my rumors list that I made. I kinda worked a long time to figure shit out just to have it deleted. Whatevs, I just can't wait for the line up. Final Predictions should be due Monday morning just for shits and giggles.

Them Crooked Vultures is incredible live. I wouldn't write off TCV just because The Dead Weather seems possible. They're not mutually exclusive. Both would be great (though TDW is my least favorite of Jack White's projects). I wasn't so keen on TDW until I saw them live. It truly rivaled the feeling I had when watching The White Stripes and the White Stripes are my favorite band of all time. I know that makes me a sucker, but TDW are stellar live. About the Arcade Fire, the next time they play a festival, they will headline because they are now on their third record and I believe they put on the best live show around when it comes to musicality and spirit, lacking the showy lights and dazzle of most headliners. I'm okay with that because I sure as hell would have AF over any of the headliners Sasquatch has had minus their bffs Flips, Bjork and the Pixies.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I believe that Gang Gang Dance and Dan Deacon will be there. Gang Gang Dance played Coach and Lolla last year to rave reviews. Dan Deacon would be amazing. Sasquatch has more of the dancey feel more recently, which I love, and I would more than welcome these bands.

I see where you are coming from funnygrrl and its been a dream of mine to see them live at a venue like the gorge. I've read several interviews with Albarn where he talks about the expensive nature of their tour set up. I guess it is mucho expensive to have the graphics, the backing band and the special guests. So this year they have Mos Def, Lou Reed, a couple of dudes from a band called the Clash, The Horrors, Little Dragons, Snoop Dogg etc. etc. who they like to have play with them live as they did on the album. This added with the fact that they are one of the rarest of rare acts to perform live makes them a great add to any fest. I for one would absolutely love to see them at Sasquatch this year, however, I just don't want to get my hopes up like the inforoo people and be hugely let down. When it was first rumored that they were playing Coachella, the article stated that the Gorillaz would probably go on tour, but Coach would be there only festival appearance this year. I can't find the article as of right now, but will keep looking. I would love for Sasquatch to get an act this year that was just special to them. Last year was the first year I didn't stay at the mainstage for the headliner since I started going. Hell, I didn't see any of the three because I just wasn't interested and thank god there were sweet Wookie closers (EitS were amazing and will be seeing them again at ATP NY!!!!) and dance tent headliners that it didn't matter.

Gorillaz are in the superheadliner category because of the money it takes to put on their show. A good chunck of the money goes to the artists that collaborate on the albums that Albarn has play in the live setting. Thus why Coachella is the only one to have them headline this year. I wish they would play anyways!!!

If Soundgarden is playing, I see it beeing: Soundgarden/ Pavement/ LCD Soundsystem
I know that LCD isn't a huge headliner, but they are subheadliners at Coach and Bonnaroo and headlining Pitchdork.

You are right, I have one post and no credibility... I'm not trying to get credit for anything, I just love the festival and Soundgarden and am stoked they are gonna be there. You don't have to believe me... but if you want to acknowledge that I was right next Monday/Tuesday that would be nice!!! =) So what else do you got?

They will not play mid day on the mainstage because they have a clause for current festival season that states they won't play until dark. So I'm guessing they will have the YYY slot where it is the beginning of the darkness. They sadly are too big for the wookie even though it would be awesome to have them close the stage. When they played Monolith, they were upgraded to subheadliner when MSTRKRFT canceled at the last moment. They had the largest crowd of the weekend by far. And that was before they were semi popular like they are now.
