They tolerate "substance" use WAY more than they do underage or belligerent drinking.

Seriously. Don't do it. I got kicked out. And sorry, esrever, I think the likelihood of just confiscating the booze is very slim. I had not a drop of alcohol that day, was completely sober, and was about as compliant as it gets, yet they still kicked me out. Just. Don't. Oh your completely right. I only made that observation because I saw it happen maybe once in all the years I have been to The Gorge and 99.8% of the time they don't tolerate it one bit.

Yes, if they catch you drinking underage you will more than likely get kicked out. Although it will depend on the mood of the "drinking enforcement" at the time; I have seen them only confiscate the booze and let you be on your way, granted that your not already deadbeat drunk and should be escorted out anyway.

So I have good news for you guys. I live really close to The Gorge, and as of right now I am seeing blue sky's starting to peek through with just an overcast.
Keep up the high hopes for good weather because whatever you guys are doing is working!

Oh ya, definitely makes it nice when we have to pack up and go home.....short drive and I am home in bed. I actually do know some people in my area that make it, but this year didn't work out too well, so I am stuck with parading around the campgrounds with high hopes (pun intended). If I run into any of you I have plenty of stuff to barter.......

Believe it or not I'm about 40 minutes or less away from The Gorge. Pretty close to Chelan.

More than that, it's a risk eating shit that you actually end up finding in the campground or venue. I say it often but I'll say it again now (say it with me, kids): NEVER TAKE MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE, AND ALWAYS KNOW YOUR DEALER[/u][/b]. I'd rather be stone sober at Sasquatch than take something that some guy told me is molly.[/quote] This is great advice for anyone. I feel like a total tool walking around asking people, but hey, I gotta do what I gotta do. Its a shitty situation. But unfortunately I find myself in this boat when it comes to searching for molly at Sasquatch. It really is a shitty/pain in the ass situation.

Whats even more fascinating is the amount of them that wait until inside the venue to start looking/asking. I mean, I think it would make way more sense to search in the campgrounds, rather than inside personally. Plus safer and more discrete.

My group is bringing roughly 300+ glow sticks all mixed (glow balls, hats, safety pins, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) Although that is a pathetic amount compared to about 90% of people here.
Unfortunately I will only catch the very last of Chromeo's set, if at all, because I plan on catching Head Like A Kite. But I am hearing Chromeo is going to be insane, in the same manor as LCD Soundsystem last year.

Canadians got to plan ahead just like everyone else. My thoughts exactly!

So are you guys still planning on handing out glow sticks in front of the sound booth? I think I read that in this thread somewhere.....

Pea, you should hit up Adam Zacks to be an event planner next year! First order of business......push for Radiohead even if it breaks the bank.
