Yup, there is a lot of pent up negative energy that needs to be released on Snacks. Maybe we should burn an effigy? Burning man tickets were auctioned off this year, weren't they? And they don't allow campground fires at Sasquatch, so we're running out of options...

Possibly NSFW. I'm not sure. It just features some shirtless gay sensuality. The gentleman with the beard has been in numerous adult-oriented videos. Watching him put lipstick on another guy has ruined his image completely.

Shax: You can buy tickets on cineplex.com and print them out at home or work or wherever. That's probably what I'm going to do. So long as you can get to a printer before the movie you're fine to buy a ticket whenever.
Edit: Cineplex.com is giving me "Tickets are not available. Please try later." Not sure if you have to buy these in person or what.
Worst case, I work about 4 blocks from chinook, I can drop over there at lunchtime and buy tickets.

Jesus Rollerblading Christ. I'm so there. So where are we meeting for beers beforehand? I guess we could do Joey's or Chop at the mall. The lounge at Chop is kinda pricey, Joey's would be cheaper.

Yep, all over the place. I shop there once in a while, usually if I need new work boots or carhartts or whatever.

They only had the Pils, but I'm hoping they'll start stocking more. I made a point of commenting on it to the staff.

This is pretty random, but I have a very similar shirt to that, Rusty. Not exactly the same but darn close. And I'm wearing it today.

I was super excited yesterday to see that the Co-op downtown had Lagunitas in stock. I've never seen it there before. Needless to say I picked up a 6-pack.

Obviously I'm totally kidding, but it would be hilarious if a horde of people showed up and you had to explain to your "interest group" that your internet friends are here to use the shower. No worries, I realize this is all in good fun. I actually kind of wish I was camping in some ways, but this is easier given that I'm flying rather than driving.

What J-Dawg is REALLY trying to say is, we're all invited to take showers in his hotel room! I'm actually renting a condo with a number of other guys who share the same "interests" as I do. You may not want to shower there.

How the FUCK are you doing this with one checked bag? I'm going to have my car packed so full there won't be room for an extra bag of chips. For me this is pretty easy. I have a bag that's legit carry-on size but as large as possible, and I have a selection of suitcases, one of which is... as large as possible without being dinged for being over-size. So I bring those 2. My glowy hat selection may be limited as a result, but I'll bring at least 1 or 2 of them. As for toiletries, well, they take up a lot of space and I usually forget something anyways (often it's sunblock). So rather than be annoyed when I have to make the inevitable run to walgreens or cvs to buy stuff, I just plan to do it, and also stock up on water, gatorade, snacks, etc. at the same time. Also, you'll recall I'm not camping, which instantly halves the amount of stuff I need to bring.

I'm flying westjet. My options boiled down to these three (all round-trip): 1. Calgary to Palm Springs Direct (WestJet), for the low low price of $1100 2. Calgary to LAX Direct (Air Canada), for $460 + $50 in bag fees = $510 3. Calgary to LAX Direct (WestJet) for $490 with free checked bags. Needless to say, I chose door #3. The extra $600 will buy a lot of hookers and blow beer at the festival. I'm taking the Air Canada flight...although I only have one checked bag so it worked out cheaper. What time is your flight down/back? I'm leaving YYC at 11:30ish on Thursday, into LAX at 1:30ish...Leaving LAX at 6pm on Monday. Westjet worked out cheaper with 1 checked bag for me - Air Canada charges $25 each way for your first bag now (recently changed their policy). I Arrive at LAX 12:15 ish Thursday, leave at 1pm Monday.

LAX isn't THAT bad... i mean - it's not pretty, but it could be worse. Yeah, I guess I should have been a bit more clear. As an airport, LAX isn't bad. In this particular case, the drive to and from the festival is more the issue, especially the morning drive back to LA on Monday...

I'd never felt more growed up in my life than the first time I did my taxes all by myself with E-file. I know. It feels all professional. It is pretty sweet that I live in the future and can get my W-2 online and then e-file my taxes the same day. For me, it's never my employer that I'm waiting on, it's always the bank. I don't get my T-5s until pretty much the last possible day from the banks, and my RSP receipts are usually about a week later. Which means I can almost never file my taxes before mid-March.
