The return of Fall Out Boy!!!! I thought they were gone for good. I'm still not convinced this isn't some sort of prank.

So Bassnectar did his first AMA on reddit today and check out one of the things he posted. He did a remix of Primus' "Here Come The Bastards" and Les Claypool loved it so much that he joked that he wanted to go on tour with him. LIBERAL HIVEMIND TRASH

I have a 2 hour long program on Saturdays for my college station which is about as much exposure as I really get to radio. And since we're a college station all the music is like "The Flip Flops - Bananapanorama" and "SPRCLSPRXPLDR - Mandatory Robot Arms". I always make an attempt to throw on some Bon Iver, but it's usually off of the remix album that they released for spotify (which was really cool).

I'm really unhappy that I'll be at work for the great unveiling.

Dude, but everybody knows who Bon Iver is. Those albums blew up like crazy. Phoenix... less so. I'm not positive that I've ever heard a Bon Iver song on the radio but they STILL play 1901 and Listomania. Those songs were massive. Really? Granted, I don't listen to the radio much, but I don't think I've ever really heard any buzz about Phoenix with the exception of DLC for Rock Band. But even my girlfriend's mother listens to Bon Iver. Which is saying something, I guess. I don't know.

I want to recommend specific tracks, but I haven't decided that I like any tracks more than others yet. I can actually sit down and listen all the way through and be totally satisfied. Oh shit. I actually really liked that album. fuck yeah!

Not a costume, but I'm going to make a series of trucker hats for my crew that say "SQUATCHMEN" on them.

I want to just tell you that you're wrong, but opinions don't really work that way. I can understand why this album is being perceived as terrible, I just can't bring myself to not enjoy it. I have been listening to Nate Reuss' projects since I first saw the video 'Dog Problems' which had been preloaded onto my first gen PSP. The Format was an important step into the world of indie music that I hold very dear to my heart, and when I first heard fun.'s debut album I was ecstatic. I have had all of that music on heavy rotation since they first played for me. This album doesn't disappoint me at all. I love the stadium drumming, the choirs, the autotune. It is exactly what I expect out of them... to have fun. See, why can't people post things like this about their musical taste. SkeeKnee, you won't convince me on the merit here, but I'm going to give the whole album a listen to at some point today. Solid post dude. The whole notion that the Sasquatch Board is a pile of assholes who will send you to exile for making one small music miss step is so funny to me. Personally, I feel we have a good system that manages to keep interesting people around who have something to say about themselves and music. I don't know, perhaps it's as a result of my very new introduction to message boards, but I always feel like the people that stick around here post more conversationally than the typical You-post-"A"-so-I-Post-"B" boringness of other message boards I've seen. I want to recommend specific tracks, but I haven't decided that I like any tracks more than others yet. I can actually sit down and listen all the way through and be totally satisfied.

Also, I'll admit that I did not enjoy We Are Young much at all until I heard both versions in the context of the album, at which point I was turned.

I can get behind many mainstream indie-pop albums that grab the attentions of the 16 year-old crowd and have a ton of fun with them (see Young the Giant last year) but this one is just terrible. Which is a shame 'cause I do like that We Are Young song. I want to just tell you that you're wrong, but opinions don't really work that way. I can understand why this album is being perceived as terrible, I just can't bring myself to not enjoy it.
