No idea who they played before, but the stage was tiny, and it was midday/late afternoon the way I remember. Maybe 200 is a little low, but it wasn't a huge show by any means. I loved it nonetheless and special ordered their CD from a local music shop when I returned home.

So there is definitely no validity or hope of the Chemical Brothers? Had to show a friend the visuals from their Coachella show last year and it's got me all hyped.
Did anyone else see the Black Angels in 2006? I swear there were less than 200 people watching and I was one of them. Loved it.

The booking agent emails are fantastic! Also hoping to see some killer blues at Sas this year, hope they book Black Joe Lewis.

I will not believe Pretty Lights is there until I see it, but he is the most coveted electronic act at for me this year. Lots of other cool stuff I want to see, like Amon Tobin, but I'll take Pretty Lights front and center. Indie Rock isn't for me. I'll keep an open mind and give anything a listen, but generally speaking we don't jive.
I have a zune account and download damn near everything I can or that gets mentioned on this board and as a Sasquatch potential. I run music all day long in my store so its nice that I can listen to all this shit and get a clear picture of what I want to see at Sasquatch. I love when Sasquatch books traditional rock acts similar to the Black Angels and Black Mountain.

This is what I should have done last year. I hated the lineup announcement last year more than anything. I was obliterated with overwhelming depression upon its initial release.
Thankfully I held in there, dug into the lineup and found what many others did - a fucking incredible mid/undercard. I never realized it until recently but in all my years attending Sasquatch I'm usually only excited by 1 headliner every year.

Prepare for the worst, hope for something better than the Shins and Beirut and Girl Talk. I had fun a little fun with Girl Talk back in 2009 and in the right state of mind I can probably get into a Girl Talk dance party on the main stage. I'm not through the roof excited with the leaks, but I'm not completely let down either because there is some shit in there thats totally exciting. I just didn't want my Sas this year to be completely dominated by the Banana Shack/Electronic scene and from what was leaked yesterday those are the acts I like the most.

I would fucking love Black Mountain again. With at least a 75 minute set this time. Easily one of my favorite all time band discoveries from Sasquatch.

Jane's was stellar. I've never been a big fan, but they floored me live. After seeing NIN in 2006, the 2009 show was a total disappointment, Jane's definitely outdid Reznor and his stand-ins at Sasquatch 2009. Dave Navarro stole it and Perry Ferrel was amazing to laugh at.

Pretty Lights could easily play Sasquatch on Friday or Saturday then head east to play Summer Camp on Sunday or Monday. I've already come to terms with the idea of him not being there so whatever. I'd heavily be considering Wakarusa over my beloved Sasquatch if I wasn't already committied to Roger Waters at that same time.

Tool would be so out of left field. It would shock the foundation of my Sasquatch soul, in a very profound way. They're playing Ticks & Leaches, Intolerance, and Pushit. I would fucking die. No matter what if they tour beyond these February dates I will see them, but there is nowhere I want to see them more than the Gorge. I promptly suggested this idea on the facebook page awhile back when the initial rumblings of their tour came to fruition.

Oh I did, I just wanted to expand on its definition a little because I think its fucking hilarious. I've been working with the same crew of guys for a very long time and we have our own word for 'chad' that we've been using around our store for years. But I like chad too because its more conspicuous. I know that Ghostland doesn't fall into the chadmusic bands. Its a chad, chad world out there man.

Big Sky Brewery? That is somewhere just outside of Missoula? Is that the bar that is above the tunnel? The one that stops serving at like 8pm? I'm not completely familar with the entire landscape, but it sounds like I need to keep a better eye on what is happening/who is playing in that neck of the woods. Thats a drive I'll willingly make from Minot anytime for a good show.

I'm not always up to speed on what is in or popular, but I know damn well what I like. In chadworld we don't book Death Cab, Modest Mouse or Wilco as headliners, but we would take Ghostland. Haha.

Fuck, really? Does Missoula get many good shows? Thats not far from here, I'd have no problem driving to Missoula for a good show. Every time I pass through Zoo town there is nothing happening.

I know they toured, but it was pretty minimalistic and short as compared to traditional tours. I know many of us were shocked to see Modest Mouse and Death Cab thrown into headlining slots. I'd totally be willing to accept Ghostland as a headliner. I would've taken them over any late night slot or headliner other than Foo and the Nectar. Although the Bassnectar show I saw indoors at the Excel Energy center dominated his Sasquatch performance, minus the glowpocalypse.

Same here Cy. I'm just trying very hard not to get my hopes up for anything because it will only lead to disappointment. There is plenty of reason to believe that Ghostland is a logical choice, no tour for their last album, didnt really play any festivals last year, a history with Sasquatch and now suddenly they're on the Wakarusa lineup with no other dates announced that I've seen. I hope its true.
I want Pretty Lights to be there, but I bet he'll skip out.
