Haha jesus FD, the kid is only 16. That would explain the "Swag" tagline. Welcome to the board kiddo and you better get yourself a general camping pass and get ready to party at Sasquatch! His friend's momma won't let him camp there. Too rowdy. Ghostland Observatory is out. Even their own agent apparently thinks they're barely worth seeing:

Avett Brothers are officially and positively out. Sounds like they'll play Roo though. This is the work of the other person on inforoo who has been doing lots of emails like me:
"I cannot say until the official announcement on Feb 14. But I can tell you that they will not be playing Sasquatch this year."

My sister saw a guy in Portland who had "Fuck You. Pay Me Now." tattooed on his face. He even had the periods. Could it be that Stakey is that man?

Sigur Ros is out according to someone at Roo who emailed them. We contacted Cut Copy a long time ago and were told they're mostly just recording this year and at least not doing Roo.'
Yeah, finding out a headliner is doubtful. I'm mainly contacting mid range and smaller acts for that reason. I was able to confirm Foster the People for Roo though, and that's a pretty big name. The names I report back to you are just a fraction of who I've contacted. I think a manager/agent just ignoring my email is much more likely than them telling me no and that not being the truth. Still take the denials with some hesitancy though, as maybe a few of the names will pop up on lineup day.

I'm not putting too much stock in these emails. I appreciate the effort and all that, but I'll remain skeptical until official announcement is made. The ones on the Sasquatch site I'll believe, but if I was getting emails asking about unreleased and possibly contractually restricted tour dates that I'm privy to, I'd be keeping my mouth shut. If they say "you should go Northwest" then great. That band will probably be there, but if they're saying things like "no festivals booked" or anything like that, then it's entirely likely that they're just following the rules and not breaching contracts. Still holding out hope for Sigur Ros. Yeah I've definitely thought that. I'm hoping more for confirmations than denials, because the denials could still end up on the lineup if the agent just doesn't want to say. Some of the denials are personalized where the person spent time with a response and telling me other tour dates they have or stuff like that. Others are just a simple no or "won't be playing" so those could go either way. I figure it's at least worth a shot, and don't trust any of the info completely. I still think most of what I've heard back is the truth though. Again with Sigur Ros, that was just what someone posted on the Roo boards, so I don't know the tenor of the email. They are a trusted poster though. Just to recap, I've had these bands confirmed from agents. I know a couple were rumored before by you guys, but this seems like pretty good confirmation meow. Not much, but it's cool to know, and none of these were on the website leak: Wild Flag Clap Your Hands Say Yeah The War on Drugs Crap, I thought I'd found out more haha. I've been Youtubing new bands this morning. Getting more and more excited for this year. Already bought my ticket too, thankfully.

Andrew Bird is out.
I'm really excited for The War on Drugs. That album has been growing on me a lot.

Rusko is out.
Just saw on the Roo boards that the guy who heard back from Sigur Ros confirmed they aren't playing Sasquatch. Sorry, guys.

The War on Drugs are confirmed. They're also playing Bonnaroo. Peelander-Z is out. Chairlift is out but the person said the lineups aren't locked "so it's still a possibility." Metric: "Wait until the festival announces...these emails are getting annoying." Either I emailed this person before, or she's been fielding lots of requests haha. The agents are beginning to catch onto me. I'm assuming they're out but who knows. Looks bad for Yeasayer: Could you do a few e-mails please Artists: Bon Iver, Kathleen Edwards, Hannah Georgas. Electro: James Blake, Feed Me, Pretty Lights, Dillon Francis, Kill The Noise, Knife Party, Rob Swire. Comedians: Duncan Trussell, Ari Shaffir, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Neal Brennan, Dan Levy, Kyle Mooney, Good Neighbor Stuff I'm just emailing people I'm personally interested in, but I do already have emails out to Bon Iver and Pretty Lights.

Based on the wording, looks promising to have Amon Tobin at either Roo or Sasquatch. Him not being able to confirm anything now isn't a denial and sounds like a festival announcement restriction, at least in my wishful mind. I'd bet more on this being at Roo though, as he played Moogfest and AC Entertainment is heavily involved in that:

Approximately how many emails did you send out? And did Sigur Ros' manager happen to receive one? Probably at around seventy now. Yes I did, but have yet to hear back. Someone on the Roo boards contacted them and heard back that they won't be at Roo, so it's promising for getting a reply either way.

Maybe all these bands will be on the lineup. One of these managers must have sent a mass email to all his manager buddies telling them about a guy named Nolan Devine. Haha it's only a matter of time until I get at least partially found out by accidentally emailing someone twice or something like that. I'm just getting as much info as possible for now though.

Designer Drugs are out. The agent also mentioned that no one he represents will be playing. This is a roster of everyone his agency represents. I don't know if we're safe to rule all these people out, or just artists he specifically manages for them: AUTOEROTIQUE bLINK-182 CLASSIXX COLD CAVE CSS DEPRESSED BUTTONS DESIGNER DRUGS DJ AM DJ BL3ND DJ JAZZY JEFF ELI ESCOBAR FISCHERSPOONER GINA TURNER HOLY GHOST! INFECTED MUSHROOM JOACHIM GARRAUD JOKERS OF THE SCENE KID SISTER KISSY SELL OUT MORSE CODE PANTyRAiD PASE ROCK RAC RANCID RIFOKI STEVE AOKI SUPER MASH BROS THE ALBUM LEAF THE COBRASNAKE THE FAINT THE GLITCH MOB THEM JEANS TONY MARTINEZ TRANSPLANTS TRAVIS BARKER I have a feeling a DJ AM show this year would be kind of boring.
