Nope! Never been to Sasquatch before! 14 other people and I are all heading down there from Vancouver Island and it's all of our first years!

Bring warm clothes and extra socks. Looks like they're just going to huddle for warmth. That's why they need 14 people.

Bring warm clothes and extra socks. I had no fricken clue how cold it was going to be at night last year. We drove into town after the first night and bought sweatpants and a sweatshirt so I'd have something warmer to sleep in. Friggen terrible.

Sara, one thing that certainly helped me battle the cold was by packing jeans and a hoodie in my bag for the day. It wasn't super glam, but I would just change in a Honey Bucket--or depending on my sobriety level--would just change in the open.
Now that they have re-entry, perhaps you won't have to schlep it around all day, but daymn. it definitely does freeze once that sun sets. Yinz gotta be prepared.

The last two Sasquatches I've wound up coming home with a couple random charity hoodies because I always forget how goddamn cold it can get on the hill if you aren't up and dancin' and wind up runnin' to the first War Child or whatever kiosk I see and to buy some warmth.

Fortunately, I was always pretty hammered, so the cold didn't bug me too much. I'm pretty stoked about re-entry. I'm getting old, so a mid-day snooze followed by round 2 of heaving drinking should equate to an awesome time. No going to bed early and missing the late night dance parties.

Some drunk guys tried to keep me warm under their blanket, which was soaked/dewy from being on the grass. Super fail. Good effort, though lol. I friggen love how friendly everyone there is.

Good to know! I'm a pansy when it comes to the cold so I'll definitely be bringing sweaters and jeans.
I was at work today and we got some super cute tops in that are perfect for Sasquatch! Might have to pick up a couple of them

I know they have re-entry this year but you still might not want to leave based on when the bands you want to see are playing. If that is the case I suggest lightweight layers. Yoga pants to go under skirts or dresses, extra socks, hat, jeans if you think it will be super cold.
It is exciting to go to your first Sasquatch! I am excited to go and it is my 6th. Remember to hydrate really well, more that you think you need. It is arid climate and wicks your moisture. And stake your tent down! That seems like a dumb thing to say but when you see your first tent flying through the air you will understand.

I'll post pictures when I buy them!
I'm super excited to be going! I just want it to be May right now.
How do you ladies deal with your hair during the festival? I'll probably just use baby wipes to keep myself clean but my hair.. I don't even know what to do about that! It's the frizziest mop when it's been air dried.
